Something pretty boring, would be my guess.
Syball would probably just sit there and telepathically send him a red repo
Why would the attacker and his mates turn themselves in?
I'd have thought they would make a beeline for the nearest border crossing point.
^ Maybe supports the pay-off theory?...
Unless they have the means and motivation to spend the rest of their lives avoiding extradition, not necessarily a good move.
Based on legal precedent they are looking at ten years in chokey.

PHUKET CITY: Briton Paul Chetwynd-Talbot was sentenced to 10 years in jail today for the murder of his girlfriend, Debra O’Hanlon, on July 31 last year in the Patong room the couple shared at the time.
The 32-year-old accused and his lawyer, Somsak Chattay, had hoped for a reduced charge of manslaughter, arguing that Chetwynd-Talbot had not intended to kill Ms O’Hanlon.
Judge Nopparat Suwannakorn, however, pointed to forensic evidence indicating that Chetwynd-Talbot had hit Ms O’Hanlon very hard in parts of her body that could have caused death, and sentenced him based on a charge of murder according to Section 288 of the Thai penal code. This offense carries a penalty of 15 to 20 years in jail.
The sentence was cut by a third because Chetwynd-Talbot surrendered to police after the murder and admitted in court that he had killed Ms O’Hanlon.
After today’s hearing, Chetwynd-Talbot maintained that Ms O’Hanlon’s death was “fundamentally an accident”. He told the Gazette, “I threw one punch that I shouldn’t have thrown and this resulted in the girl’s death.
“I wasn’t expecting to be charged with murder. It seems there is no way of bringing that charge down.”
He noted, however, that his lawyer had told him that, given good behavior, he could be out of jail in five years. The time he has already spent in jail awaiting trial will also be deducted from the remainder of his stay in jail.
Or 2 and a bit.
"A 60-year-old Australian man has been sentenced to jail in Thailand for the murder of an American tourist earlier this year.William Thomas Douglas will serve two years and nine months for killing Gary Poretsky of Hawaii in March.
The pair had been drinking at a restaurant in the northern city of Chiang Mai and in the early hours of the morning, got into an argument.
Douglas took out a gun and shot Poretsky dead.
He was initially sentenced to five and a half years in prison, but the court reduced his term because he confessed.
It also determined that the murder was not premeditated.
Douglas was originally from Perth, but had been a long time resident of Thailand.
He will serve out his sentence in Chiang Mai."
Aussie man jailed in Thailand over tourist's murder - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
Only did 2 years of the 2 yrs 9 months and was deported back to Ockerland.
less than 3 years isn't a bad sentence for murder, if you can get it.

Police charge American tourist over murder of Australian man in Pattaya
So the American was defending a Thai woman who was being attacked by the Australian by punching him and knocking him out.
Up until that stage everything was good but the continued attack being stomping on his head while unconscious is totally out of order and which obviously caused his death.
I doubt he will get a self defence verdict even though his original action was justified.
Still kinda sounds like the Yank should get a public service award....
The original offence was created by the Aussie, the Yank intervened by protecting the woman by knocking the scum out, the police could have been called (the police station is 5 minutes walk away), a report would have been filed with the Aussie being taken to the police station with deportation being the probable end result.
A life changing event for all involved.
The yanks got previous form.
THE man charged over the fatal assault of Australian tourist in a Thai red-light district had killed before.
Thai police have charged an American with manslaughter of Melbourne man Benjamin Robb, 42, who died after a ferocious beating last Friday.
Local media reports have named Jose Manuel Polanco Jr, 43, as Mr Robb’s attacker. He will appear in court within the next week.
Polanco was charged with murder in the second degree by North Miami Police in 1993. Court documents seen by news.com.au reveal Polanco, who was then a teenager, killed Michael Cooper after receiving $20 for looking at a problem with Mr Cooper’s car.
“[He] told detectives where he disposed of the murder weapon, which was not recovered, and where he disposed of his own bloody clothing, which was recovered,” the court documents stated.
He was initially sentenced to 12 years in jail but was released after two years behind bars when the charge was downgraded to manslaughter with a firearm. After he was released he spent five years on probation.
He was charged, but not convicted, of carrying a concealed weapon and grand theft auto.
Ruby Lounge attack: Australian killed in brutal Thai bar fight
So the Yank has a prior conviction being manslaughter with a firearm.
Any prosecuting lawyer would use that information in court.
Obviously when applying for a visa here you do not need to reveal prior convictions and disclosing that you have spent time in jail.
I wonder what that would do to the TOT numbers if it was a prerequisite, as it is when applying for a tourist visa when entering other countries.
Australian who died in bar fight in Thailand was 'choking waitress' before brawl, police say
The Ruby Club is a popular spot for people involved in weightlifting and martial arts
An Australian man who died after a bar fight in Thailand had been choking a waitress shortly before an American man punched him, police said.
Pattaya police captain Sombat Kaewpoonmuk said 42-year-old Mr Robb was drunk and behaving aggressively, holding a waitress up by the neck
until her feet lifted off the ground and her face turned blue.
The rest you know ...
Benjamin Robb, from Newport in Victoria, became involved in a drunken brawl at the Ruby Club in Pattaya, 150 kilometres south-east of Bangkok,
last Friday evening.
An American man, Jose Manuel Polanco Jr, told police he punched the Australian several times, saying it was in self-defence.
Mr Robb sustained major injuries to his head and upper body before being knocked unconscious.
He was reported to have been thrown across the bar and later sustained repeated kicks to the head and body.
Thai paramedics and police were quickly on the scene and Mr Robb was taken to the nearby Pattaya Memorial Hospital.
Despite treatment he died in the early hours of Saturday from his injuries, including internal bleeding.
Eyewitnesses said both men had been drinking heavily in the afternoon and appeared intoxicated when the fighting broke out.
The Ruby Club said in a statement the altercation had been brief and had left the Australian unconscious.
Mr Polanco Jr is in custody while Thai police investigate further.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said it was providing consular assistance to the man's family, and that it was
unable to provide further details for privacy reasons.
Here
The Yank has already done jail time in Florida for murdering an 18 year old student . Extreme violence is not unusal to him it seems.
I often try to warn young guys out here on holiday not to get into fights. You could be messing with a complete lunatic for all you know and in the case of this Aussie it looks like he did and paid the ultimate price.
That pic in post 69 is LK Metro, quite a way from Soi 6.
