    Newsworthy.

    Really?

Because from the red you sent me I got the impression you were quite glad they died:

I read all about this story a few days ago. I had no idea that this happened recently. I thought this was the 2 Canadian sister from a few years ago.

Anyway there was pills spilled on the floor in one pic and a blister pack in another pic.

    Google search pill and .....

    AN 627 (Tramadol 50 mg)
This pill with imprint "AN 627" is White, Round and has been identified as Tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg. It is supplied by Amneal Pharmaceuticals.

Other forums investigated The blister pack and found that it was Diazepam.

I know its reckless because i did the exact same thing with my friend when we went to Thailand in the early 2000's. My friend was a bit of a drug experimenter and we were getting all kinds of crap from the pharmacy and taking it. While we were drinking and stuff.

There was actually 2 cases of a pair of women dying in SE Asia on a party island.

Poisoning likely killed two Canadian sisters this week on the same island in Thailand where two women died in 2009.
A maid discovered Audrey and Noemi Belanger dead in their beds on Thursday evening at the Phi Phi Palms Residence on Phi Phi Island.

In 2009, an American and a Norwegian woman died on Phi Phi Island,
    Phuketwan.com reported.

Jill St-Onge, 27, and Julie Michelle Bergheim, 22, died in adjoining rooms after falling ill; police never solved that case.

That report doesn't support the theory that drugs killed those two girls...

    police never solved that case.

RIVIERE-DU-LOUP, Que. -- A Quebec coroner has concluded that two sisters found dead in their hotel room in Thailand in 2012 were probably intoxicated by phosphine, a strong pesticide.

The same pesticide was also believed to have been responsible for the recent deaths of two children in northern Alberta.

Coroner Renee Roussel said Monday the fact Audrey, 20, and Noemi Belanger, 26, were both very sick and appeared to have the same symptoms led her to conclude they suffered the same health problem -- intoxication.

Roussel's report describes phosphine as a pesticide that "kills everything that lives, everything that breathes."

She said it is officially forbidden to use phosphine to fumigate hotel rooms in Thailand, but that it might in fact still be used.

^That was the Quebec girls yes.
I find the bedbug theory hard to believe. And I am not the only one. Some party drugs when used just once, wont show up on a test later.

But the story that is unsolved is the American and a Norwegian woman died on Phi Phi Island.

If I remember rightly, the Phi Phi one was attributed to the same pesticide that killed all those people in the Doomtown Inn in Chiang Mai.

We had a thread on it here. It wasn't just any old bedbug spray......I believe aluminium phosphide was the final conclusion, and the authorities also came to that conclusion.

A Kiwi or Aussie news programme visited and took samples. They found massive traces of Chlorpyrifos in the AC ducts.

An organophosphate pesticide banned for indoor use because of its toxicity.

It's quite well documented that the Chiang Mai authorities knew all this and covered it up to protect a "VIP".

I was referring to the Bellanger sisters and the other couple.

However in Chiang Mai, Chlorpyrifos could only be expected to be in the air con ducts....Asians use it freely. Just because they breathed it in doesn't necessarily mean those people died from it...just sayin

Phosphine is the active ingredient and it fits most of the cases reported of a similar nature.

Fit, healthy people dying with symptoms of fatal myocarditis.

The ironic thing is that insects have now adapted to be tolerant to it.

The reason they only found it in the aircon ducts in the hotel is because they had had the rooms stripped and cleaned to hide the evidence.
