Viral video: Bangkok celebrity punches motorcyclist in street rage incident - BangkokJack - Bangkok News

A video clip showing a man punching a motorcyclist on a Bangkok street to relieve his anger after the motorcyclist hit his Mini Countryman car went viral on Sunday with criticisms of overreaction.

In the clip, the well-dressed man in a white shirt held the motorcyclist’s collar and blamed the latter for hitting the tail of his car and fleeing. He hit the motorcyclist repeatedly in the face.

The motorcyclist did not even resist or defend himself but listened and agreed to prostrate before the car as its owner ordered furiously. He ended up just wai the vehicle.

The car driver did not stop although onlookers said he could not attack the motorcyclist and the motorcyclist could take legal action against the driver.

It was reported that the accident occurred on Charoen Krung Road last Friday. Media reported that the luxury car driver was an actor and commentator of a famous music company and he planned to hold a news conference on Monday.

According to reports, the motorcyclist hit the car while trying to catch up with a taxi which earlier hit him. Afterwards, the motorcyclist returned to the car driver.

Saw this yesterday. Never mind, Thais will quickly forget an love his cheesy celeb shows whatever they are soon after!

The motorbike rider needs some balls. I am sure he would have had public support if he slapped him back.

True, and anyone that takes abuse like that, or watches it without having a go back, deserves it regardless of who was a fault.

Seems the shit has supposedly lost his job,and when going to police changed his story and produced photos of him, when he went to the fellas home and spoke to the parents.

No arrest has been made, the investigation will no doubt take 12 months.

I pity the victim. First of all gets hit by a taxi which does a runner, makes a small mistake/accident on the mini and returns after chasing the taxi to apologise to the mini driver, and gets clobbered for his honesty.
He got hit and the driver ran away, he hit someone and returned to abuse.
Seems karma wasn't in his favour that day.

Their innate subservience, cowardice really, in the face of what they perceive to be a person of superior social rank is really quite repellent. I liken it to the Kraut culture when they happily bought into the nazi thuggery dressed up as a social order and participated in it for their own ends.

Thai society is equally repulsive although they do lack the sense of teutonic organisation which means they usually just fuck things up.

Had I been the bike guy I would probably have clobbered the white shirt guy the moment he grabbed my shirt. Pr at least hit down on his arm to release the grip.

    But it wasn't me so..

Hope the actor loses all his fan support and doesn't get any good parts again.

Yes, ok... NZ is a crime infested, murderous wasteland, where Maori run around half naked threatening all and sundry...

    woe is me...

123 ning song sarm... I shall have to return to the glorious, crime-free, safe, sanctuary of the land of smiles...

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/tr...nd-Smiles.html

Thailand 'one of the most dangerous tourist destinations on Earth': Expat investigation lifts lid on dark side of the Land of Smiles

‘Thailand’s carefully manufactured reputation for hospitality, as a land of palm trees and sun-drenched beaches, happy-hour bars, world class hotels and welcoming people, as paradise on Earth, is very different to the reality many tourists encounter,’

‘Life in Thailand is cheap. And the deaths of foreigners often go unlamented; even unrecorded. Tourists are still given few warnings of the reality of the situation they are entering.’

Figures released by the British government showed that between 2011 and 2012 there were 296 British deaths in Thailand.

In the 12 months up to April 1, 2013 there were 389 British deaths in Thailand, while in the same period up to April 2014 there were 362 deaths and 267 hospitalisations of British tourists.

‘The attitude of murderous indifference to the welfare of strangers is ingrained enough in the Thai psyche for it to justify formal government warnings to the many hundreds of thousands of tourists venturing into the bars and clubs of Thailand on a nightly basis.

‘It is standard operating procedure in Thailand for the bars and clubs to pay bribes to the local police and municipal authorities in order to be able to open their doors.

Note that I am not making any claims about Maori. I grew up in the eastern BOP and never had any issues.
