Yes, but if the Filth don't enforce it it's not worth shit.

And they won't enforce it because they do not get paid enough to be efficient and using phones when driving is at the bottom of the list compared to what Somchai get up to.

Nothing will ever change until Somchai the Policeman is paid a decent wedge and is empowered to deal with Hi-So's.

    Don't hold your breath.

Defensive driving is what you can do. Can't do much else.

Yet, such illegal activity is not enforced [ignored] in the West as well, where it has been deemed unlawful on the books - most continue to distract themselves anyway.

You forget Terry. Thai police receive 95% of the fine ticket they issue, but the cnuts are too fooking idle to issue them. They'd rather take the cash in hand bribe which is a lesser sum.

Have not posted a pic in ages. However I thought this was the norm for the average.

    The norm??
Kid on the front and mum at the back both wearing helmets- hardly the fvckn norm. Norm is some twat with a cheap helmet on driving his young kids and missus round without a helmet cos he can't be bothered to carry the helmets around after they're off the bike.

Look no further than the joke that is the fact that motosai taxis aren't even required to carry a helmet for their paying passengers.

    Another quality Thai joke .

Its perfectly normal for a guy to ride bitch, providing he's holding the helium balloons. He was not in the least bit embarrassed when I snapped this shot. Well he wasn't smiling. But then again nor was the driver. Hmmm?

Heading out f VTE Laos. So yes many risk it without proper head gear. Still stay off the phone while driving. I'll admit I've ridden without a helmet. Just not in Asia as In my view that's crazy. The rules of the road are merely guidelines if that.

I stand corrected. They must be educated middle class folks. I meant average as there are more than two riders. I was amazed when I saw a guy balancing a two meter satellite dish on his shoulder while single handling his scooter. I was too awestruck to snap a shot. This was on a main street mid day. WOW.

RIP Passakorn Ong-art as it was nor you or your mothers fault. I hope she fully recovers. The scars will remain in her mind. Can only hope the woman that caused it is held to account. A grave err on her that she will Live with as well, if of course she has a conscience. I believe the majority do. Surly she did not want this to happen.

Do you really believe she's that compassionate? If she was she would have thought of the child's welfare first and not had him on the motorcycle. I can only comment on where I live and there'd have been little remorse and life goes on. If things happen then it was meant to be. A Buddhist thing.

My point was/is that without any of the above she shouldn't have been on the road herself so therefore the son would never have been killed.

I'm not denying that, but the child's mother should never have been on the roads in the first place. An accident waiting to happen and happen it did.

I'm not saying the mother of the dead child was the cause. Both party's are equally guilty in the death of the child IMO.

They had one before motorcycles became available. I wish people would stop defending them for breaking laws. Life in Thailand would be so much safer without the things.

Its a world wide problem and fuk all is ever done about it .

Or now ever will be .

As a lorry driver I see it all day everyday fukin twatts even in lorries coming towards me over the white line heading straight at me programming those stupid fuking twatt navs because the bastards are too thick to understand a map .

Then the next car is coming at me as the goon driving it is looking down texting

Shits em right up it does when I blast my horn and the look up and see a face full of Scania about to send them into oblivion .

I would never have allowed either of these devices in vehicles in the first place , however the genie is out the bottle and so any and every forum and form of social media you look at you will see the daily bleating on about the rights and wrongs of it.

R I P to that poor little kid and hope the mother recovers her leg
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

I would say Prag is not wishing any evil on the gal on the motorbike ,

If I was to take a guess he is feeling angry + frustrated at the sheer fukin stupidity here seen on a daily basis .

He is just posting a cynical / ironic way which is exactly how I feel about the lawlessness that exists in this box of frogs of a Country , I know a lot of people enjoy the freedom in this Country which runs alongside this way of life and they are very happy to settle here.

Sure is one of the reasons I never could live here , for me good for a visit ,, nothing more
