Kasikornbank has announced to will temporarily suspend all services, except credit cards, from 10pm on July 17, a Friday, until 10pm July 19, a Sunday, to enable upgrading of its overall banking system.
The bank put up a notification on its website informing its customers that the suspended services included ATM and debit cards, K-express cash, K-web shopping cards, all ATM machines, passbook update machines, and all electronic channels including mobile banking. All branches will be closed.
The bank’s ATM cards cannot be used with the machines of other banks during the period. Only the bank’s credit cards can be used.
The bank advised its customers to plan their transactions ahead, so they are not affected, and to ensure they had sufficient cash available to tide them over the 48 hours.

I think this may be one of the banks that I visited recently that basically has little desire for foreign customers, if I recall correctly. So maybe not many TD members use this one. I was investigating different banks after moving to Prachuap, and I think this bank said I needed to show proof of work. Difficult to do on a retirement visa.
