Sting In Phuket Drugs Raid Uncovers Wanted Man Replaying Lifestyle

PHUKET: The small-time arrest of a man with just a couple of ya bah pills in his possession led to the capture of a much bigger fish on Phuket overnight.

Somsak Sukjan agreed to take part in a ''sting'' operation and as a result Phuket City police netted Surasak Rabeadee, 32, at home in Moo 3, Rassada.

Khun Surasak, police quickly discovered, had been a wanted man since June 2013 over possession of 4580 ya bah pills, 51 grams of ya ice and an illegal gun and ammunition.

There was a similarity in last night's arrest.

Police alleged Khun Surasak was in possession of 1135 ya bah pills, 7.98 grams of ya ice and a shotgun as well as an M16 for his own protection, plus ammunition.

In America they make a big deal out of so called "home invasion robberies" and many people are terrified of them. In fact they're used as one of the biggest arguments by the people opposing gun control.

During 18 years as a cop in an East Los Angeles Police Department, I saw at least 20, and not one of them did not involve so called "victims" with a history of drug sales, or in which it was not apparent from things in the house like scales that measure in grams, small plastic bags, sheets of glass, razor blades, etc that they were involved in the drug trade.

The best way to avoid a home invasion robbery? Don't deal crack out of your house.
