Thailand .. Failing To Stop After An Accident

not for the faint hearted, scroll down to the second photo for the video.

Teen plunges from overpass, possibly hit by car, survives (VIDEO)

Yutthana was reportedly speeding on the overpass and crashed his motorbike into a barrier. His body was thrown and fell at least six meters where he was possibly run over by a car, according to police.
He was rescued by a noble citizen who lives across the street, who found the teen unconscious and bleeding from mouth and nose. His arm was also broken. He was admitted to San Camillo Hospital and is recovering.
As seen in the CCTV footage, an approaching car, which looks like it ran over him, and just drove past without giving a damn.

Well, I would have stopped. And then backed up over him.

When you are uninsured, probably unqualified and unlicensed, and perhaps a little pissed, then no Thai on this planet will stop lest they be exposed to a claim for compensation.

It's a third world shithole full of third world shite.

Whereas you being in this condition obviously would stop.

Your constant monotonous agenda of Thai bashing is boring in the extreme. Switch channel I am sure that you cannot be such a miserable prick in real life.

I suppose the bottom line is that the dude was 15 years old, not licensed nor insured and driving like a maniac to actually end up being launched over the guard rail.

In this case I'm unaffected and its a tough shit department case.

the point in posting this was not to draw attention to the poor driving skills of the unfortunate motorcyclist, nor the poorly thought out siting of overpass barriers, but to highlight the uncivilised, barely human, selfish and irresponsible behaviour of the car driver who not only hit him, although he could hardly have avoided him, but then proceeded to drive over the man and drag him along the road... you can see the car bump twice as it pases over his arm or leg, once for the front wheel and once for the rear wheel, and then drive on as if nothing at all has happened.

nobody other than "seeking asylum" has even mentioned the behaviour of the car driver.

and what exactly is your point?

the driver may not have been able to avoid hitting him, but could have stopped his car well before he dragged him along the road.

the driver did not alter his speed or his direction in the slightest, he just carried on as normal.

Tax, I think you are " nearly there" but not quite yet.

Thai people are in the main savages. Their indifference to injustice, unfairness, discrimination, suffering and the misfortune of others is only exceeded by their selfishness, greed, stupidity and ignorance.

In terms of intelligence, the average moo baan's inhabitants' cognitive ability would scarcely exceed that of a herd of bison.

That the motorist could do what he did is quite commensurate with what passes for their morality. That you or I could not conceive of a situation where we could possibly emulate that atrocity is actually quite telling.

The thing is, we are humans. The Thai, whilst bearing an approximation to this species, are in fact a subset of primates and are not in fact human in the sense most of the planet's population are.

Once one embraces that, then it is quite possible to observe them in much the same way a microbiologist might examine the contents of a Petrie dish with the same degree of emotional engagement.

To see one of their people squish one of their own species in those circumstances is probably akin to watching a dog eating a turd; incomprehensible, repulsive and disgusting but, after all, it is a dog.

In the end, one can only record and carry on.

Actually, as you may have guessed, I have a dim view of humanity anyway so nothing very much surprises me even if I'm appalled. Still, with all Thailand's advantages in life with no natural disasters to contend with, no depredations from war- mongering enemies and the capacity to feed itself, it really is quite a conundrum as to why they are such animals.

I saw a lovely Salko with full rotation and a piked entry. Technical and artistic merit, I score that as a 6.8.
