Wife’s dream leads to the discovery of suspected husband’s remains in a swamp

    Wonder if he had insurance.

Human bones were found inside a gunny bag plucked from a swamp in Ban Pong district of Ratchaburi today after rescue workers were alerted by the wife of a missing man who claimed she had a dream about her husband who told her where he could be located.
Mrs Tassanee Noppakhun alerted Ban Pong district police about her dream Tuesday night. In the dream, she was reported to have said she saw her husband, Mr Chatchai Buranat, who went missing since November 4, completely swollen and his clothes torn in tatters. Her husband then told her he was killed and his body dumped into Krajab swamp.

Mrs Tasasanee said she told her dream to her relatives who then organised a search of the swamp which uncovered the bag with burned bones inside. A car licence plate bearing the same number of Mr Chatchai’s car was found near the swamp earlier. Police were however not sure that the remains belong to Ms Chatchai until tests were conducted by forensic officials to confirm the identity.

Right ok. Sounds like a suicide and the wife had nothing to do with it.

Don't forget to include Burman into your conclusion.

Her conscience could be the end of her. Although it depends whether she is Thai or Burmese.

3 Dreams Lead To 3 Bodies

Must be something in the air...

    Bangkok Post
    November 13, 2014

Three people claiming they dreamed of dead people telling them where to find their bodies aided the discovery of three bodies in the described locations.

The first case occurred Sunday when a contractor found the remains of an elderly who died several years ago in home next to a Lat Phrao district house he is renovating.

Police found the body of Vasinee Haemopas, 71, on the second floor of the home she is presumed to have owned and resided in for more than three decades. Relatives last visited in 2011, but found the house locked from the inside and left.

The contractor said he dreamed several nights before the discovery of a thick dark cloud flowing across his feet, asking him to check the house next door. He did so Sunday and found the remains, then alerted police.

Ms Vasinee's brother will receive the remains for religious ceremony later, according to Pol Lt Col Chaowarit Ngernchalard, special case investigator at Wang Thong Lang police station.

The second case began Monday night when a woman said she dreamed that a man told her a corpse would be carried by the waters of the Lat Phrao Canal to her house in the Lat Phrao 80 community.

The next morning, she told her older sister, Utumporn Nakthien, about the premonition. Hours later, when the 50-year-old sister was about to leave for work, a garbage collector stopped her, saying a body was lying in front of the house. She then called police.

The sisters said afterward that the victim, identified as Karaweak Sriso, a 42-year-old native of Kamphaengphet province, resembled the man in Ms Utumporn's dream. Karaweak had disappeared from a job site in Nakhon Nayok province three days earlier, said Pol Lt Kraisorn Inpin, a case officer at the Wang Thong Lang police station.

The third dream also was revealed Monday when bones belonging to a man who had been burned were found dumped in a pond in Ban Phong district of Ratchaburi province were found.

Tassani Noppakun informed police about the recovery of a sack containing burnt human-bone fragments. Ms Tassani said she dreamed about her husband, Chatchai Buranat, who has been missing since Nov 4.

In her dream, the husband was bruised and wearing torn clothes. He told her that he had been killed and his body dumped in Bueng Krachub. The woman then searched the pond and found the sack.

Pol Lt Col Apivich Chanwong, a case officer at Ban Phong police station, said the area where the sack was found is the same area where on Monday parts of a Honda car were recovered. It was the vehicle that Chatchai drove out of his house before disappearing. The police will investigate the case and identify the body.
