Those 2 Burmese guys don't seem to possess a few of the traits which would simultaneously indicate guilt.
They quite cheerfully showed up for DNA tests (which were then reported to be negative), and they both look so small in stature...like 16 or 18 year olds. Reportedly they were on the beach playing guitar ! They simply don't look like they have murder in them.

    There are three of them.

    They are named and known.

Everyone who has been following this saga is aware of their identities.

    The two Burmese are patsies.

The three remain. Like a bad smell, foetid, rank and increasingly malodorous, their stink envelops the island and permeates the Thai, their selfish conceits and, most of all, the parody of what passes for their government.

Do the Thai who were educated abroad, fill their Foreign Office, staff the higher echelons of the Civil Service who deal with the world regularly, not increasingly squirm and wriggle at this ghastly pantomime currently produced by lumpen, inept policemen and a naive general so far out of his depth its scarcely credible he is even here?

Surely Prem and his ilk must be thinking there has been a terrible mistake?

On another forum one poster opined similar thoughts and one of the board's resident Thai apologists immediately began using the racist and why don't you f*ck off back home defense of all things Thai.

The guy calmly explained that while stating the obvious short comings of the LOS didn't mean that he 'hated' the place. He did however have a problem with the 2% of corrupt/lawless/untouchable Thais setting the countries agenda for the other 98%.

Even the apologist agreed with his reasoning.

But posters that need no education (about Thailand) continue to lecture us that the Koh Tao 'family' has no influence with the authorities.

That's some great shit they are smoking- is it available over the counter?

If the DNA was from the mafia family , wouldn't they only have to test one to find a few tell tale markers indicating they were looking in the right direction .

English ? who knows , they were working in bar , they could have picked some up, maybe with the intention of heading to the west one day.

^The Thais would never employ Burmese to work in the bar.

^ Lot's of cig butts thrown on the beach. Just bad luck the RTP found his cig butt and matched his dna to it. Not conclusive evidence is it?

It appears the two Burmese scapegoats where threatened with being burnt alive now.

Fairly certain there will be no statements issued by the UK police until their involvement is over (the opposite of the Thai police with their constant roll out of hypothetical theories, seeking plaudits for being oh so clever).

I'm equally sure the UK police will be cringing at the practice of 're-enacting the crime scene with the suspects, along with the audience of media and public, with the laughable photos of finger pointing.

Laughable ? More like utterly ludicrous and farcical.

And I wish the police all the best luck with their translators. When the Brits ask a simple question, the translators and police will converse for 5 or 10 minutes, and something approximating an answer (to a slightly different question) will eventuate.

We've all had that scenario with our wives, eh ?

Found this tid bit on the other forum the missing footage- oddly it does look like Win in the white t shirt just behind the couple, as he looked buying cigarettes earlier. I think that " ACTWO" shirt is a uniform of sorts and he may have more than one copy as he is shown standing in line for the DNA test with it on, after wearing it the evening of 14th on CCTV buying cigs - or he has limited wardrobe? If so surely he did not wear it to slaughter anyone.

The image does not appear to be the same of the " running man" as clothing is different and is going opposite direction

his couple were mistaked as David and Hannah, by The Mirror I think, of course they aren't but appear Asian, the woman certainly. Then the police released the footage out with the couple deleted out. Interesting.

Quick grab it , it's gone off the thread. Sorry cannot post pics for some reason. go to link.

CSI reports NomSodOff is planning a trip to "non UK English country" US ?

Better write the Embassy , he'll need a visa.

    Loving the comments....

    Baldrick20121 week ago

I've lived in Thailand for the last 15 years, am married to a Thai woman, been visiting since the mid 80's, the place is a corrupt shit-hole, my wife agrees with me, it's called the Land of Smiles, and that's true, they do smile at you, but secretly they resent 'farangs', see them as stupid and are dismissive of any POV but their own.
The police (BIB) re horrendously corrupt, constantly on the take and target foreigners whenever they can, they will not hesitate to frame you with planted drugs or even kill you, covering it up with the help of their superiors and fellow officers.

This 'investigation' into the deaths of these two unfortunates is a travesty, they are framing two Burmese migrant workers, which is a common occurence in these type of cases, it's always a foreigner who commits this type of crime, never a Thai...Thais are irreproachable and above all otherr nations andraces.

I've now left Thailand and won't be returning any time soon.......anyone who asks....I tell them it's not a safe place.....and quite frankly I wouldn't give them the shite from the sole of my shoe......horrible, disgusting, treacherous and despicable people.

Yes, and it was the UK press that mistakenly claimed it was David and Hannah, clearly it is not. But it is pertinent that the couple were deleted out of the footage released by police- why? According to the time stamp, they are just a step or two ahead of the second " person of interest". So who are that couple and could they have been inconvenient ( to the police case ) witnesses?

And the figure behind them is not the same as the running man whom is now generally considered to be Warot aka Nomsod- or at least is dressed differently longer pants and what appears to be the white t shirt with rolled up sleeves like what Win was wearing earlier buying cigarettes. Why did police claim it is the same person as running man?
