Didn't CSI LA post they had of found lawyers to help the accused, whatever happened about That?
That guy does nothing. However, there was an appointed lawyer but he then backed out, no doubt after a word about his career prospects from the elites. Then the Law Council offered their lawyers. However, I assume that they themselves will be beholden to the elites as well, so one assumes this fund will find someone a little less likely to screw it up on purpose to SAVE THAI TOURISMOriginally Posted by Yasojack

Brave farangs living in Thailand putting their name on that list! Might as well have a target stapled to their faces for next visa time.
Ye CSI seems to like to write what he does and not the collective.
not read him now.
Meanwhile, police spokesman Pol Lt Gen Prawut Thawornsiri said Thursday that British officers arrived in Thailand on Wednesday to observe the Koh Tao murder investigation. The team comprises a Metropolitan DCI from the homicide and major crime unit, a forensic operations coordinator from the Met, and an experienced homicide detective from Norfolk police.
It is interesting to see that the Brits have sent someone in Forensics over.
I didn't realise they were hear already. Have Thailands finest kept it to themselves?
Clearly not...Originally Posted by septimus

These British guys will have their ducks lined up in a row.
I just tried to donate money to that campaign but after entering all details, I can't get past the last step.....on either Firefox or Chrome.
First it says that there are details missing (my HOME landline number, when I don't in fact HAVE one and have already entered my mobile #), then when I enter random digits to fill that space, it says there is still missing info, but does not say WHAT. AAaaarrggh !
And a post I made quoting CSI was removed, ( ostensibly for libel against the Koh TAo family ) it claimed a witness stating HW was drugged, and DM went to her assistance.
As there is mounting testimony drugged rape is a pastime among this group of locals, but the women are not being killed, something made this one go wrong. I am not blaming DM, nor offering judgement on his actions, but merely offering a theory on the events.
Do what? Get someone in immigration to compare names with people living here to identify people who are contributing money to shame Thailand? Course they bloody do. 100,000 people work for immigration and they have fuck all to do at the best of time. They would love to fill the day by causing trouble for farangs.
Do you really think so?...Not saying it's impossible...Maybe they are running scared then?..Heh...(Fcking hope so!)...Originally Posted by pseudolus

One tourist murder suspect now arrested, another on the run - Thai PBS English News
D N A ??Pol Lt-Gen Panya Mamen identified the first suspect as Mon.
He is the brother of a village headman in Koh Tao.
He was arrested after evidence which police collected were examined and proved he was involved, he said
I think an awful lot of money has passed between certain people since then.
I know it's inconceivable to many, in these touchy feely politically correct times, that it was indeed the 2 illegal immigrants ( sorry migrants ) wot done it, but I'm still not convinced they are innocent..
Even in the above unlikely scenario, they could have had a role, as they were both bar workers -according to the only report I've read about their employment .
And I'm still waiting to for an answer for these questions
Which bar did the two accused Burmese men work in ?
How far from the murder scene is the AC bar ?
Good idea to have a look back, which led me to this one just 2 days later
Seems NomSod's still from questionable CCTV footage is the only alibi he had to show....How nice for him.
And the first testing on Zaw and Win was done by this date according to the article;
Police now rule out Koh Tao headman?s son a murder suspect, turn to foreign tourists in the probe - Thai PBS English News
Eighth Region Command commissioner Pol Lt Gen Panya Mamen said Thursday investigators have now excluded the son of the headman Woraphan Toovichien, 49, from the suspect list as he was not on the island when the two Britons were brutally murdered.
He was in Bangkok, police said.
Headman Woraphan earlier announced to offer one million baht cash if the police have substantial evidence to implicate.
His brother Montriwat and son were earlier suspected to be involved. Montriwat looked like a suspect captured in a CCTV video footage on the night of the murder near the scene.
Montriwat was later accused by a British man working as a diving teacher in Koh Tao, Sean McAnna, of threatening him with life to admit to the killing of the two Britons. He fled the island in a hurry and later revealed his nightmare after returning home in the UK.
But his accusation was dismissed by Montriwat who also revealed that Sean had blood on his face and body on the same night.
Montriwat disclosed that an employee of his brother he identified as Jok helped to wash blood from his face and blood.
When asked about the blood on the face and body, Sean claimed it was caused by accident, according to Montriwat and his brother Woraphan.
The employee who washed blood from Sean also was reluctant to give information after the police ruled Sean out of a suspect because he is a European as DNA samples found in the body of Ms Hannah Witheridge indicated the suspects as Asians.
Earlier the Eighth Region Police commissioner Pol Lt-Gen Panya Mamen also said it was very unlikely that Sean was a suspect as evidence was weak.
Meanwhile on Thursday Pol Maj-Gen Suwat Jaengyodsuk, acting chief investigator of the Metropolitan Police Bureau (MPB), who was sent to help local police investigate the murder, said police had collected 30 DNA samples from migrant workers on the island in a bid to find clues to the murders.
So far more than 200 DNA samples were tested but none matched samples found in the body of Ms Hannah Witheridge, 23, and in a cigarette butt left near the scene.
Those 2 Burmese guys don't seem to possess a few of the traits which would simultaneously indicate guilt.
They quite cheerfully showed up for DNA tests (which were then reported to be negative), and they both look so small in stature...like 16 or 18 year olds. Reportedly they were on the beach playing guitar ! They simply don't look like they have murder in them.
