Second Army says man living abroad masterminding “Khon Kaen Model”
    in General | May 29, 2014
The deputy commander of the Second Army Region revealed Thursday that the mastermind of the plot to sabotage Khon Kaen is living abroad and he has intent to make sabotage in Khon Kaen a model in resisting the military coup.
In the press conference today at the Third Infantry Regiment of the Eighth Infantry Division at Siharat Dechochai camp in Khon Kaen, the deputy commander of the Second Army Region Maj-Gen Thawat Sukplang showed a diagram of the Khon Kaen Model to reporters with the man living overseas on top as a mastermind.

He did not identify the mastermind but just said he lives abroad.

He said after troops arrested 22 armed suspects and seized a large cache of arms on May 23 in Khon Kaen, the “Khon Kaen Model” was uncovered.

Investigation of the 22 armed militias who was to take the model into action produced more evidence of the plot.

The general said six more suspects were arrested in Surin province with evidence showing they planned to incite violence and start a riot in Khon Kaen. All were residents living in Nakhon Ratchasima, Chaiyaphum, Kalasin and Surin.

They have prepared a large number of weapon for use in creating a riot and violence in Khon Kaen first to make it a “Khon Kaen Model” for other resistance groups across the country to follow suit.

Arms training will be later given to these supporters and militiamen to teach them how to use guns, grenades, he said.

Under the Khon Kaen model, four steps are to be implemented in order to achieve the goal. First is to mobilize as much as possible the people to take part, to disarm authorities and troops, to sabotage financial institutions to bring their money to distribute to the poor, and to declare “zero debt” policy across the country, he said

First - mobilize many people, GOOD IDEA
Secondly - disarm authorities and troops, MAY LEAD TO CONFLICT
Thirdly - sabotage financial institutions to bring their money to distribute to the poor ROB THE BANKS AND ATMs?
Lastly, declare “zero debt” policy across the country COMMUNISTS!!

Being Thailand seems to involve paying people to support you.

Can't figure why the SET is thriving since the non-coup. Could be an ambush.
