Suthep threatens to 'shut down' Bangkok afer New Year holidays
December 29, 2013
People's Democratic Reform Committee secretary-general Suthep Thaugsuban said the protesters would "shut down" Bangkok after the New Year.
He said the date has yet to be announced but told people in provinces to prepare to come to Bangkok.
Roads will be paralysed, but there would be no closing of airports or train stations, he said.
