Canadian Kills Thai Rival in Deadly Love Triangle

A 42-year-old Canadian engineer stabbed a 59-year-old Thai lawyer 50 times after he caught him with his live-in Thai girlfriend. The Canadian had returned unexpectedly from an overseas business trip, and walked in on the illicit lovers in his Bangkok home.

BANGKOK – November 10, 2012 [PDN]: A report of a man being fatally stabbed was received by the Kannayao police station in Bangkok. A police team rushed to inspect the scene. The incident occurred in a house at 418/63 Harbetia village, Tambon west Sarmwa, Amphur Klong Sarmwa.

At the scene, police found the victim’s body in a second-floor room of the house. He had been stabbed more than 50 times all over his body. He was identified as Mr. Komsan Aksornchart, age 59, occupation lawyer.

The man who killed him was identified as Mr. Macos Beyond, age 42, a Canadian engineer. He was in the house and gave the knife to police and surrendered himself without escaping. Also in the house was the suspect’s girlfriend, identified as Ms. Patcharaporn Pinorn, age 42.

During questioning, police discovered that Mr. Macos and his girlfriend had lived together for 6 years in the house, which he had bought to live with Ms. Patcharaporn. But Mr. Macos seldom stayed in the house because he often had to travel abroad.

Meanwhile, Ms. Patcharaporn was studying for a master’s degree at Ramkhamhaeng University, where she became acquainted with the Thai lawyer. On the day of the stabbing, Mr. Macos had flown back from abroad unexpectedly without telling Ms. Patcharaporn beforehand.

When he arrived at the door of his house, he saw Ms. Patcharaporn was together with the lawyer, so they got into a violent quarrel. Then Mr. Macos used the knife to stab the lawyer until he died.

For the cause of the murder, the officers assumed that it came from jealousy. When Mr. Macos saw his girlfriend with other man, he got angry and made trouble. Initially, the police restrained Mr. Macos and charged him in an accusation of killing another person intentionally, and then brought him to the police station to do the master plan of confessing and put him into jail.

this point i really like with "sharia law"...
the female is punished, too, in such cases, same sentence...
though, i dont support stoning...

the "victim" got its sentence already, perfect...

I find it hard to believe that farang engineers and oil workers who spend most of every year out of the country but return to a 'wife' who receives a monthly salary from him and lives in a house she owns but he sponsored would ever think that normal feelings of love, trust and loyalty exist in this kind of relationship. She understands it's economic and when he's away she needs some fun.

no, i cant agree... people are (nowadays) in contact, when they are not (physically) together... there is skype, there is mobile phones...

also, one should think about, when getting married...
there is a lot of trust, but thats why people marry, making it legal, and sort of "sealed" - to have it NOT LOOSE....

and, even though it doesnt change the "deed", its really pretty disturbing, to fuck your lover in the marital bed...
