Pakistan and Greek suspects arrested in Pattaya motorbike theft ring case

A foreign national, thought to be involved in a recent motorbike theft case, reported by us on Thursday, has now been formally identified and a further man has been arrested and accused of his involvement in a foreign-run motorbike theft ring in Pattaya.

Police Major General Katcha, Provincial Police Commander, held a press conference at Pattaya Police Station on Friday to confirm the arrest of Mr. Ipekci Arminak aged 25, a Greek passport Holder who was born in Turkey and Mr. Nadeem Ejaz aged 35 from Pakistan, who had entered Thailand on a fake Greek passport.

He was also in possession of a fake Portuguese passport and driving licenses in fake names from Malta and Greece.

Mr. Ejaz had been arrested on Thursday but further investigations led to the arrest of Mr. Arminak on Friday on Pattaya Second Road.

Their bike of choice was the Honda PCX and 5 of them reportedly rented from shops around Pattaya and not returned in accordance with the rental agreements and worth approximately 75,000 Baht each were recovered by Police.

The two suspects claimed they were paid between 3,000 and 5,000 Baht each by a foreign agent in Pattaya upon delivery of the bikes to him.

This main agent is now the subject of a separate investigation by Pattaya Police.

Yeah the ole unstamped freshly minted passport deposit trick. Had a few people try that they get so upset when you won't accept it.

It is true then , that Americans are ignorent when it has anything to do with things outside cowboy land . Paki's (Racist remark) come in all colours In Kashmir they are whiter than the American funny mixed race colour that all Americans are

IF its OK to call a guy from Uzbekistan an Uzbek a guy from Kurdistan a Kurd , a guy from Afghanistan an Afghan ,why oh why is it deemed "racist" to call a guy from Pakistan a Paki ?, surely one has to prove "racist intent", and any way they call each other Paki's ,and in Manchester my home city there is a no go area ,were many walls have "Paki's rule OK " wrote on them .
