The question should be whats the rate per 1000. from what I understand the death rate amongst heroin addicts is just under 10 per 1000 per year. If unprotected sex killed at this rate, i think we would be drowning in unburied/cremated courpses. Its worth noting that most of these deaths are the result of circumstances created by the illegality of heroine
As for cocaine, I don't know the stats, but it does spike blood pressure and reacts with alcohol to create a chemical that damages the heart. But my guess would be that its more dangerous than taking heroine under medically clean conditions and less dangerous than taking heroine illegally.
But is anything more dangerous than smoking?
