mostly peeled them, had to use a knife on one or two of them to lift them up a bit. but they pretty much all come in the end, apart from one or two, but at least now I have about 20 extra pages i can use.

It's lucky you had this forum to ask advice from.

Soo true. I found TV lacking, TT wanting and 440 wankers! Can you suggest another forum? That would help me on my passport issue?

I think you did the correct thing. Have a mate pull out a Cambodia one out and got a lot of shit for his efforts.

I know its a little delayed the reply. Wanted to share my experiance.

The Indo visas were peeling by themselves and I glued them back in on the notices, cautions and tranlations to eu languages pages. I did not want to get in trouble with immigration if they noticed I had no record of previous visits. This was with my old UK passport. Although they dont normally care, they will probably give you grief if they notice you have taken out a visa. I also put yellow sticky notes on the clean pages in my passport saying "please refrain from stamping this page" and paperclip the clean pages together so immigration dont stamp them. It has never came to taking out visas and throwing them away.

My friend got an APEC card to save him the grief of applying for so many visas as well as losing all his passport pages in the process.

All the stickyness is gone and the only thing holding it in there is the staple, sooner or later it will fall out.

Should I stick it or staple it back down? Or remove it? If I remove it will I have problems going thru immigration with a blank page half way thru my used passport.

    Thanks
Well honestly i was refused a thai visa on application cos a 5 year old visa had fallen off somehow and i had to go to the local police station to get a police report done for the loss of visa after which i was given a visa on arrival at thailand. On visiting the thai consulate i was very rudely told its my fault the visa was lost and the thai embassy cannot do anything and the immigration officers more or less told me the same thing and i keep getting my visas refused because of the missing visa so i used the best possible advice… lost my old passport which had the missing visa

China visas do use better glue, and removing them can pull a layer from the passport paper - which looks extremely fishy. Removing glue that is left behind is extremely difficult - I tried steaming some off using a kettle once and it made the entire passport shrivel and get water stains. I tell immigration that I dropped it in the bath.

Japanese visas seem to be stuck with superglue. You can only get them off if you move them almost immediately - as the glue hardens. The Japanese immigration caught me doing this.

I also move visas around my passport. Eg my current multientry China visa, (which looked awful on its new page, as of course it wasn't flat and pristine anymore - PRC immigration were not impressed - but it was still in order). Moving them to pages where I have had accidents and the paper has come off or on top of a half inked stamp that overlapped a removed Thai visa label.

In answer to your question - having a free page in the middle of your passport is no problem.
    Yes Moog, you silly-arse.

Would you now like to add that you got FOUND OUT pulling out visa labels, were deported from Indonesia, - nearly got a night in jail, and had your passport red stamped ' REFUSED ENTRY' - which has caused massive problems getting new visas whenever your old passport is requested.
