Many people do and you can use one then the other if you wish.

I do; they ask you if you have another passport when you have visited Thailand before

you do not have to tell them all the facts though as, most of the time, their judgement is clouded by Som Tam time

as long as they can tick all the boxes, there should be no problem
    I have reported your post

prob not if he had not yet used it

but it sounds as if their systems are connected. That would seem a logical thing anyway, as they check your visa on the computer at immigration when you arrive

Well, they couldn't find that info in the Bangkok Immigration office for my visa a few weeks ago.

Dito. Toooooo easy. If ever they do adjust the bar to put a halt to it , THEN will be the time to look at alternatives. Just reading Miggins thread on the subject of 90 day reporting is enough to put you off .

    An update......

    I hold 2 passports.

Sent one to a trusted person in the UK.

He sent it to Hull and got a 1 year non imm O by return.

    He posted it to me.

    arrived on 21st.

23rd we went to Lao for the visa run.

    Now pay attention.....

passport A has my tourist visa in it

passport B has the non imm o from UK.

So, I go to the border and check out on my A.

I arrive in Laos and check in with the A cos they want a departure stamp from LOS.

Walk round the shops, buy some smokes and grog and go back to Laos Immigration.

Because I'd come in on the A I need to go out on the A. No worries exit stamp given.

On to boat across the river, and I stash A and pull out B.

B is the one with Non imm O.

I go to Thai check in.

All good 'till he asks me where I come from?

    Laos, I says.

So where';s the exit stamp from Laos?

    FOK.............

Rather than try to be clever (I'm not good at that) I said that I've got 2 passports. The Laos exit is in the other passport, A.

    Great consternation.

Boss is called from his lunch/coffee/ never does much any way / break.

    I is getting worried here.

Boss and 2 SNCOs discuss matters.

Boss says to me ( he's quite friendly, almost charming ) "wait a moment please".

    Nice

    A moment later he says

    "We call big boss.
    We don't know what make.
Thailand people have only one passport.
    Why you have two?"

    I reply,

" I have two for a very long time.
    Many Australian people have two.
    Please look at the photos.
    Same Same."

They chat in a bemused sort of a way and then one of them shrugs.

The nice young boss man shrugs looks at me and says

    "We call Big Boss".

    Once again I think, "FOK."

SNCO 1 rings his mobile......... no answer.

    He looks at SNCO2.

    SNCO2 rings............. no answer.

SNCO 1+2 look at nice young Boss bloke.

His expression is magic. It simply says.....

"Fok off, I am not calling the big boss"

I have no doubt that the 2 SNCOs had probably dialed fake numbers, setting their young boss up.

He, the young Boss was a really nice guy, by the way.

Anyway, they all looked at each other, grunted and groaned, shrugged and shivered and finally decided .....

"Yes, here're your passports. Here's your stamp. Bye Bye."

    No worries.

I hope this might help anyone else trying to exploit the system.
