I have a Laosy girlfriend who has been living in Thailand since she was about 15. All was ok for the first few years as far as visas went cos she worked at The Hardrock in Bangkok and they sorted it. From then on she has been on back to back tourist visas and 30 day stamps. Now all this talk of a crackdown on tourist visas has got me worried. Have any of you got any info on what the situation maybe like for her or is this crackdown just for us farang.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Probably the easiest thing to do is for you to employ her as a maid.

No, she's ok. Not as money grabbing as Thai bird, but still money grabbing.
