Renewed One Year Non B Visa in Bkk in 20 mins

well it's that time of year again which entails a visit to Suan Plu to have my visa extended for another year...

I have to go cause they actually ask to see you - I mean they want to be sure that you are actually there...apart from that the lovely girl from my office took care of everything...

in and out with new one-year stamp in 20 minutes...never known them to be that fast...cost 1900 baht...

only downer of the morning was the driver who buggered of somewhere and left his phone in the car...so we had to wait for him for half an hour!..

anyway, back in the office for lunch and they went to the Labour Dept in the afternoon to renew my work permit but my presence was not required for that one...

I post this because so many gripe about the visa process...but kudos where it's due...

    Aah.

Then there is the Japanese consultant who changes his passport, has his details transferred across, but someone neglects to inform him to update the WP folks as well. He loses his WP, wife loses her associated dependent's visa, he is charged massive overstay & now has to start again from scratch.

All done at One Stop, Bangkok.

Care to explain the 'where kudos is due' bit, in that?
