ThaiVisa relies on advertisers such as Thai insurance companies. The more activity on this means increased revenue. I suspect they are actively stoking the fire.
How long does one have to "season" ones residency in a particular TI offices "area", prior to be able to utilise such enlightened behaviour?
It appears, due to the required "check-in" after 24 hours that after 24 hours in a particular TI office area it becomes your official TI office.
Another talking point for your next lunch!

A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
The point is that the policy must offer cover of a minimum of 500,000 plus OPC of 40,000. There are policies kicking around but the cover is scarcely worth bothering about and the premiums usually reflect that i.e 12,000 baht annually.
A I referred earlier, Kasikorn Bank offer the 500k + 40k OPC criteria policy but only to farang under 70 who are resident in Thailand most of the year and married to Thai, at a premium of 60k and with NO medical examination.
I will bring it up.
Our office is unconventional to say the least. The "old guy" mentioned in link is no longer there.
Very laid back crew. I have never had a prob there nor have any of my friends.
