Again, this is being interpreted differently by individual offices. Phuket for example doesn't require 90 day updates, however this will undoubtably be scrutinised at your next extension. What were you told when you got your extension?
I take the completed form and my passport only for 90 day reporting.
So - I did my annual renewal of stay two weeks ago. The immigration officer told me that my next 90 report would be based on my last entry - so I am going to do a 90 report in two weeks. The logic of this is completely lost on me, as I just told them my friggin address when doing the stay extension!
I think (maybe mistakenly) the Lob is referring to the bank account minimum balance criteria for Retirement extensions rather than the 90 day confirmation of address. Some offices are requiring proof every 90 days of minimum balance compliance, others not.
Re your own situation, I agree its nonsensical. Phuket Immigration routinely do a new 90 day report for every new extension.
90day report needs is,passport and tm47form.
extension tm7 form plus.plus.
at korat imm.90day report is what it say's,should be from your extension date.SEE DATE OF NEXT 90DAY STAPLED IN YOUR PASSPORT.
then when leaving say,THANK YOU SIR.
Samui 90 day reporting is hand over your passport with the stapled paper from previous 90 day report, nothing else.
You get a queue number and have to wait 15-20 minutes until they call out your number and then you're good for another 90 days.
Udon Thani not interested in bank book, just hand them your passport with 90 day report - they do the rest.
I asked about bank book and they stated they would check next time I did an extension.
Does anyone know if the 90 reporting online up and running properly?
I did find instructions here —-> Step-by-step Guide for the 90-day Online Reporting | ThaiEmbassy.com but going by the comments the system is not working.
If not, can I personally report to any immigration office or does it have to be my local one?
Basically, I’m working in Udon so can I report there or do I need to post my passport to my Mrs to do it for me in Hat Yai? I’m due on Tuesday 22nd.
Cheers.
Lang may yer lum reek...
Cheers, I’ll give it a go when I get off shift.
Failing that though, can I report anywhere in the Kingdom?
It's not letting me past the first personal information page
You are reporting your address, logic tells me you have to do it at your local immigration place.
my "address" at my previous place of employment had me living at the head office in Thonglor, I had to do my 90 day report at Chang Wattana because Chonburi would not accept.
The Meth One's Fuck The Best !!
Shit.
Thanks for the info.
I did message my Immigration officer in HY and she just got back this morning saying "Please contact Udon Thani Immigration" so it's maybe not impossible. She's usually pretty reliable.
^ If they don't let you report in Udon then pick up the report form, fill it in and mail it to Hat Yai Immi.
You have a window for 90 day report which is 14 day before and 7 days after the date on your receipt.
There is a fine of 2000 baht if you report later but it is at the IO's discretion so if your Hat Yai IO is a friendly one then she may let you off.
I had a problem when I was using my personal email address, based on my own domain name. By trial and error I found that it worked with a hotmail address. I really don't know why.
I did my 90 Days on the app a couple of weeks ago, everyone having told me it was working. It didn't work for me and gave me an error message that looked like it thought I was overstaying, which I was not.
In the end I went to the local Immigration office, it is usually quiet there. A very pleasant and efficient IO whom I have not seen before spoke to me in the outer hallway and I explained my problem. She offered me a seat, took my passport and brought it back a couple of minutes later, everything done, only my signature required. She said I was the second person to report a problem and that she would make sure it was looked into. That surprised me. Bottom line, she thought the app and the online systems were both working fine apart from whatever glitch I hit.
On line or app is definitely the way to go, if you can.
The only thing that would improve the app, I suggest, would be if it gave you something to confirm the exact date when your next 90 Days is due. Maybe it is there somewhere, I haven't seen it.
I've been turned away from BKK because my home address is technically in Samut Prakan.
Work had been registering me in BKK for a while using work address without me knowing and then a particularly lovely immigration officer took my passport when I tried to 90day report using my real address
I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic
I fill in my personal data then hit next page and it gives me this:
Upside down but never mind.
