Any Canadians done it? I am just wondering if they have a photographer at the location as I am almost certain that Soi photo won't cut the mustard.

There is a nice example on the Canadian passport web site.
I've just found out a Canadian citizen requires a Canadian passport to get on a flight to Canada. If one is a dual citizen.

Very smooth process. You will need to get a photo(s) somewhere else, say Silom. But the rest is smooth.

AND you get your documents back 5 mins after they have been photocopied at the embassy. No sending originals by courier to Hong Kong et al.

^ yes, easy process and fast in Chiang Mai or BKK. I was worried because my photo was the wrong size but the staff just digitally resized it. I only went for a five year as VN ^ said there are no extra pages in the 10 year.

Did it before I left Thailand. Easy Peezy. Very helpful consular front desk. A real beauty there when I did mine.
