What day am I entitled to stay until?

went for a visa run last month on my Non Imm O Multiple expecting to get an admitted until date of the end of the visa (1 year from 1st entry??).
Actually I got 3 months on the stamp which I thought was a bonus but now I'm paranoid as I have been here for a year doing holidays/visa runs every 2-3 months. 5 trips in total.

    Non Imm O Issued 27/Mar/2011
Non Imm O Enter before 28/Mar/2012
    Stamp entry 26/Feb/2012
    Stamp exit 25/May/2012

If I stay until 25 May I will have stayed 14 months on the Non Imm O visa, Is that OK?

Cheers for any advice if you have done similar.

Yes, and if you were smart, you'd have done an exit/entry on 27th March to get 89 days extra.

My understanding is that your original "O" visa is good up to the expiration date for traveling back into Thailand. Once you receive the 3 month stamp at the border, you can stay until the date on the stamp. This means if you work it right, you will be able to stay in Thailand after the expiraton of the original "O".

If I am incorrect, I would like to know since I will be doing the same.

^Thanks Marmite, that is the way I see it as well.

Ralph, when I did mine in Singapore last year they had a checklist online to print off with the docs needed, I'll try to find the link when I have time.

Found it, it says 400K in the bank but I have seen rumours online with 800K

Personally I would print this page and take it with me and show 400K

    it depends on your situation

If you have a Thai wife, and the relevant papers, then your home consulate will give you an Non"O" imm for a year without any money in the bank

    easy, pay about $160 US

^ My understanding is that if you have a Thai wife, you do need to show 400,000 either in the bank or yearly income or a combination of the two. Have I misread the regs?

Got an O visa from the Thai Embassy in the States and only needed to show a birth certificate with my name as the father. I also sent a copy of my son's passport as further proof. Is a court order really needed, or will other substantiating evidence be enough?

Dr. Andy, Can I go to any Thai consulant and get the non-o like maybe Panang with no money in the bank? I can get a letter saying I receive the 400,000 per month. Is that along with the other documentation enough?

From the Thai Consulate in the UK. NON-IMMIGRANT VISAS (O)

    6) Visiting Thailand as Retired Person aged 50 years and over
    Evidence required:
    a) Copy of Bank Statement showing income of minimum £900 per month.

    Alternatively a sum of £900 x 12 = £10,800 (540,000THB) shown on a bank statement has historically been accepted.
