^ You get the double entry or just the 15 days?

How smooth is the process of going through immigration (on both sides)?

As far as I know it's just the 15 days.

Pretty smooth going in and out.

When I use it we grab a few bottles of booze to bring back. There are some reasonable bottle shops in Huay Xai

^ Sweet, I might go there after the first half of my current double entry. Getting pretty over Mae Sai after 50+ runs.

I had no problem using baht in Vienntiane or Vang Vieng. So you gotta buy a stack of kip to go shopping here? Or is that just immigration fees?

Immigration like the US dollar, though you may well be able to use baht.

    Shops will take anything.
