I get more than that and my only qualification is that I have spoken English for 50 years.

When I first arrived here in Thailand I was making B24,500 per month (with no insurance, paid for the work permit plus all the other extras) many times more than the national income at that time. It was a joke then and still a joke today.

B40,000? No way! But then that is what people probably thought about me back then...

And notice the contract is for 11 months, not 12.

^good point. Probably cut the teacher loose at the end of Feb as soon as exams are written. cheapskates, no offense to you personally OP. the 40k salary is also a red flag...

Do job postings really belong in this forum anyway?

A red flag for what ?

Adun stated all the requirements for the job -
and has advertised here before and answered questions.

Hope a TD member gets the job !

    Well, Blue

Red flag because the salary is too high for that province.

And the 11 month contract. And the subject.

I'd love to think somebody's gonna get an awesome job, but I see genuine red flags.

    "-Thai culture literate preferred"

Does that mean accepting that the only students who will make any effort whatsoever are the girls?
