Maybe he was referring to the Solyndra guys.....that was a pretty successful venture... I mean relatively speaking, a half billion writeoff is not that bad by the accepted standards of the current administration.... at least not when "green" energy is concerned. .
Key figures caught up in the Solyndra scandal ranged from the imminently visible President Barack Obama and administration officials to relatively unknown Obama fundraisers.
Investors in Solyndra, a green energy solar panel manufacturer, as well as Solyndra employees were also pulled into the controversy. The scandal stemmed from a Department of Energy guaranteed loan issued under pressure from the White House despite reservations held by the treasury which was not given time to do its due diligence as dictated by law.
Progressives at work making America a better place for all.; and they are so damned good at it......:smileylaughing:
Snubbie will be back again with tales of tax breaks for oil companies. In the end we have to decide if it's better to give tax incentives to companies that actually work and deliver the goods, or unrecoverable loans to companies that don't work...which appears to be the
progressive way of doing things.....
