I really don’t see your point in posting the link.

The link poses statements about climate change and then posts statements refuting that statement. The problem is there is nothing supplied as evidence, it is nothing more than a he said she said.

And here is another he said she said. Mr. Lewis says there are major mathematical errors and in reply Mr. Keeling states minor math errors, but there is no evidence presented as proof of either major or minor mistakes. If I see evidence to show the errors to be minor and a new paper published I will then believe what you are saying.

Why would I check what you in your myopic mind have or have not debunked?

The number of variables that make up climate are beyond the number of straws that you can hold in both hands.

Oceans, winds, solar, environment, biospheres, human and animal behavior, weather systems, earth movements etc etc etc. No single system acts alone. The only issue we could control is Homo sapiens inputs. Homo sapiens used to adapt to environments. It’s come full circle now, and the environment of multi faceted climate changes, is having to adapt to the critical mass of population interference.

Harry posted a link to science skeptic. one of the things this link attempted to debunk was the effect of the sun on global warming, I came across this article which pretty much shows this not to be fact.

Well yes they do refer to the scientist mentioned, but they do not debunk the main takeaway from the article, the world is in for a bitter cold period.

Note, this cycle is very regular. It is not the driver of climate change on Earth. Here is some good information about why that is true.

Then, the outlets seem to have picked up some comments from the website SpaceWeatherArchive.com back in September. “We see a cooling trend,” the website quoted Martin Mlynczak of NASA's Langley Research Center as saying. "High above Earth's surface, near the edge of space, our atmosphere is losing heat energy. If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold."

Mlynczak’s comments here are clearly not referring to climate change. They’re talking about Earth’s atmosphere, specifically a region called the thermosphere. During decreased solar activity, the thermosphere shrinks – which, while reducing the amount of atmospheric drag on satellites, also prolongs the orbit of space junk.

The Sun simply does not have that large an effect on our climate compared to human activity. There is no mini ice age on the way. Stories like these that suggest otherwise, and the ensuing comments, make me want to tear my eyes out. Happy Friday all.

Over the last 35 years the sun has shown a cooling trend. However global temperatures continue to increase. If the sun's energy is decreasing while the Earth is warming, then the sun can't be the main control of the temperature.
