Despite what the ADL and AIPAC like people to believe, the sycophantic nature of the US to Israel is actually fairly new. Going back to the cold war time, Israel was thought to be a little useful, however even then, the relationship caused more problems than is solved. The US supporting and supplying rogue State Israel who kept attacking it's neighbour relentlessly pushed said neighbours into the arms of the Soviet Union - they had to get weapons to defend themselves, and Israel would not let the US help them. For years and years Iran tried and still tries to peacefully engage with the US, and yet every time they have they have been shunned. the main reason being that Israel wants Iran gone....and the US needs to be radicalised against Iran for this to happen. Enter Kissinger and his 2013 is the year Iran will be Nuked statement.

Said before, Israel is the bar girl GF to Long distance sponsor the USA. There is tremendous parallel, assuming the bar girl is also a psychopathic murderer as well.

Going back to the Cold War, Israel was thought to be VERY useful if you believe some accounts. This is worth a read.
