It's hard to be judgemental in the arena of the internet, since you have no idea who you are dealing with, their background, their motives, and just everday actions. However, Surgeon (I love that name) has drawn his line in the sand and I have mine.

I have only recently come upon this internet site, and I have to say, you have some advantages over ThaiVisa. I think the people on this site are, hmmmmmmm, more real. I'm not sure if that describes, but it's a start.
The only thing that really bothers me is that I have never seen so much hatred, venom, lies, slander, etc... towards George Bush. We all have our differences, however, this man is a very humble man and in a most difficult job. Heck, we are at 330 million, can you please everyone. Not only that, I've had a chance to meet him, although he dosn't drink, I feel many people would marvel just how down to earth he is.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't agree with everything he has done, but he is the President of the United State of America, and he certainly deserves a lot more respect at a minimum for the office he holds. I just wouldn't treat President Bush in the manner that I see posted here. The same goes for my next door neighbor that doesn't cut his lawn, his dog craps in my yard, he has a car in the front yard on cement blocks, etc... Yea, it's bad, but I wouldn't treat him the way I have seen here.
It's probably a sign of the times, however, I refuse to treat any person the way I have seen here as well as the office of the presidencey. I have been around since Esinhower (just a baby), there have been several presidents that I have not liked (Carter & Clinton). I just would not engage is some of the verbal assaults that even suprise me.

Sorry repoulinjr, But Ray Carey is the real American here. He's the one who cherishes freedom, liberty and democracy and who is willing to sacrifice security for liberty. Don't forget that the original American Revolution was all about relinquishing security and safety in favor of liberty and freedom. You cowards who are afraid of freedom just don't deserve democracy.
