it's getting plenty of press....i've seen articles in the NYT, washington post, and MSNBC.

and if in fact the iranian govt. is involved, who could blame them? the US invaded two of their neighbors.

if iran invaded canada and mexico, do you think the US wouldn't be doing exactly the same thing?

btw earl.....if you're so anxious for war, why haven't you applied for any of the KBR jobs in iraq?

granted you'd have to leave the 'paradise' that is patong beach.

    no, it's called stupid...

A U.S. helicopter was forced down south of Baghdad on Friday, and two soldiers were injured, the military said.
The incident occurred in the predominantly Sunni town of Youssifiyah, 10 miles south of the capital.
U.S. helicopter forced down near Baghdad - Yahoo! News

and earl posted that the missing 190,000 missing weapons wasn't a big deal because of their cost......i wonder if one of those 190,000 weapons shot down this helicopter.

When I was visiting the U.S. I noticed unsurprisingly, who ignorant the Yanks are.

They didn't realize and never knew that the U.S. was in bed with Saddam and Bing Laden.

off the top of my head, i remember that the UK has approx. 5,000....and they're the second biggest contributor after the US at 150,000 +.

they don't seem too 'willing' anymore....if they ever did.

and did you even read the article beyond the headline? it doesn't support your "" position about US troops being in iraq 'until the job is done'.

boonie posts deliberately misleading info and claims it's 'part of the public record', and when called on it, he offers up 'get used to it"

he cites articles that don't have anything to do with his posts....and i'm highly skeptical that he's even read the aticles.

he more often than not cites bloggers.

i'm beginning to remember why i stopped posting in issues.

Well, ray, the first thing to go is the memory, right?
The aticles [sic] I cite support the uncomfortable fact that 'we' will be in Iraq for a few more years whether or not that meets with your personal approval. Nothing misleading there, eh?
