I thought the topic was false accusations of sexual misconduct or did I get the OP wrong? and as stated in my post I do feel sorry for the Italian guy who was the victim of such.

Not to mention internet forums. I don't think many have seen a side of what you are describing in Thailand. Very young girls are made up, given adult hair extensions, nail jobs and dressed in skimpy outfits every weekend all over the country. They then dance around, sometimes quite suggestively in groups and from about the age of three. I am talking about luktung dance troupes, schools often have there own for competitions. The funny thing is if you mentioned there was something not quite right or sexual about such antics Thai's would quite rightly think the questioner was the sick one. Kids can be kids and still enjoy dressing up and acting like adults, they always have. The probelms arise when the adults start to over reaact and to mis interpret what is pure childhood activity.
Too much commercialism and presure to grow up in the west I agree.

^ But i think there is also a difference between dressing up whilst playing or for special occasions and doing shows etc, than dressing like that everyday. Most people will just think a kiddy looks cute when dressed up and performing. A kiddy wearing short skirts and tops and shoes with heels when out and about in an everyday situation is different. Ultimately though, no matter if a kid were to dress up and do something considered a bit sexy, the kid is innocent, with no real knowledge. its the adults who interpret it as sexy that are wrong in my opinion. My beautiful neice at 6 years old is like a little doll. One day she showed me her "Garfield dance". She was brilliant! Yes, the moves looked sexy-like, but shes only a little girl having fun. If an adult interprets that as some kind of invitation to think of her in a sexual way, there is something seriously wrong with the adult.
