These people don't go to prison. Nice thought though.

Ah yes, opinion slags from the dear Arianna Puffball and her socialist pals. That chick can't figure out if she's conservative, bisexual (oh, that was her ex), able to speak directly to god, or what. She's still fuming she lost out to Arnie. But hey, she milked her Republican ex for millions so she can play in the Libbie camp now. Send her back to Greece, I say.

That too. She'd be nothing within her little elite of progressive media punditry if there wasn't a killing to be made from her divorce of many years ago. Books, website/blog, radio & TV appearances, etc. Her Ex financed all this. She changed colours a little to "overnight". Basically, she did the classic David Horowitz flip-flop, only reversed. And a whore {figuratively} - only looking to gather fame and foturne, without real political and social conviction.

    Don't shoot the messenger.

Shouldn't the arguments here be about the indictments?

I'd be happy to see a few more indictments against Cheney.

Well don't all good pundits speak subjectively and exist to perpetuate their personal and political agendas. This is universal, regardless of one's political identity. She's just as whorish as any of your popular pundits - left, right, centre. Playing the establishment's game....very well.

A bit far stretch I believe, the accusations seem ridiculous, not going to fly

the only good news is that the average American morons won't know the details and just see the headlines with Cheney name on it

of course bush will pardon them if it appears that they may be in jeopardy of doing time....btw, it will also be interesting to see if bush grants a blanket pardon to anyone involved in govt. sponsored torture over the last 6 years.

If Cheney is charge it will open a can of worms for the present admin. He will walk.

This is one of many self serving criminal activities he has been involved in. He's not alone either.

a position that joe the plumber himself would take..

    1 slight problem .. a non-convicted / non-indicted criminal cannot be pardoned ..
actually, I'd like for the shrub to blanket pardon all the ideologues by specific offense.
& neocon "torture is christian" might have already covered in a dim supported bill ... & nailin' to a cross is covered.

the dims in congress are lined up to kick some neocon / ideologue butt .. without executive protection from subpoenas some people are going to be talkin' to save their own arses .. or spend time in the hooscow like judy miller

monica goodling (sp) (= the jesus law school grad) & the rest of the fodder are going to roll like croquet
one of the fired lawyers has already filed a civil action against the ideologues in the dept of justice

I don't really care what your opinion is of her. All blogs are biased, but left and right they occasionally include facts. The factual OP title is "cheney & gonzalas indicted in texas". What is your opinion of that?

Why do you use such strong terms to insult people who disagree with you Earl. The majority think Bush and Cheney have been a disaster for the country and the world.

cheney & gonzalas... 19-11-2008 06:35 PM Mr Earl Jimmy the moron rides again
Your comments are so narrow minded. It very obvious you throw insults just because others differ from your small view, why? Why don't you appreciate the opinion of other posters?

Give it a break will ya.

Geez, Foreigner, you did lots of research. Did you read any of them? Sure, it's news that they have been indicted, but HuffPo always rants left left and bashes anything even mildy conservative.

Pickles, got nothing against the title. Yes, they have been indicted. Just print the news. I read/watch a broad spectrum of media to see the variations in reporting and opinions. Always have. Gotta read ten articles to get the full story.

    >The indictment accuses Gonzales of stopping an investigation into abuses at the federal detention center.<

Cheney Indictment Moves Forward In South Texas

stopping unfavorable investigations is a specialty of cheney & gonzo was little more than a white house puppet

    edit more:

In the latest bizarre development in the case, the lame-duck prosecutor who won the indictments was a no-show in court Wednesday. The judge ordered Texas Rangers to go to Willacy County District Attorney Juan Guerra's house, check on his well-being and order him to court on Friday.

After Guerra's office was raided as part of the investigation early last year, he camped outside the courthouse in a borrowed camper with a horse, three goats and a rooster.
.... at least four of the indictments deal with people who had some role in the investigation of his office last year.
.... He threatened to dismiss hundreds of cases because he believed local law enforcement had aided the investigation against him.
