Thread: Seriously, why do people seem to hate "Jews"

A recent thread entitled "something something Super Jew" intrigued me. I couldn't help but feel a definite negative sub text in the title. So often the word/title "Jew" seems to be used in a negative way. I'm just intrigued. Why do people hate the Jews?
Do people, other that the the Islamic nations, detest the Jews so much.

I've never really understood this. What's the go?

Never could understand that one.

But it's strong and undeniable.

It's odd. I've worked with Jewish people, had no worries at all. I tend to avoid politics at all costs so don't get involved in it. But I've never understood this seemingly innate hatred and disdain that some people have for "Jews". Most bizarre.

I'm not suggesting that they're better r worse than anybody else but just the word

JEW

seems to be on a par with

NIGGER, in it's worst sense.

Why?

But it's a spark with a lot of people. Sends 'em into a rage.

Perhaps Macha will wander by and give us a level-headed and comprehensive slur-filled explanation. He's usually good for that.

My first experience of Jew hating came from my grandparents. In their words, Britain had given them haven when Hitler turned on them, they were fed and housed and didn't fight. For the British population food rationing and economic hardship lasted well into the 50's but the Jews were eating bananas and running the black market in 1946 due to their networks.

Why is any criticism of Israel (which is a country, not a religion) always labeled as anti-semitism? Why is criticism of religions so tolerated, yet any criticism of Judaism is met with horror?

So this tiny group of people have a tiny plot of land with a hint of population surrounded by a massive group of people with huge populations who hate their guts and routinely attack this minuscule hovel only to have their raggedy asses kicked time and time again.

I think I rather admire them.
