The best choice when speaking about "lies about things."
Powell should reflect on his responsibility for US foreign policy being in shambles

A lot of people don’t like President Trump, and some of them are part of the reason he was elected in the first place. Take Colin Powell, for example.
Last Sunday the former secretary of state told CNN that U.S. foreign policy is “in shambles right now, in my humble judgment.”
To quote Winston Churchill, he has much to be humble about.
As secretary of state in 2003, Powell was in a position to prevent what turned out to be one of the worst foreign policy disasters in U.S. history, the invasion of Iraq over Saddam Hussein’s alleged stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction.

a lot of chatter about biden selecting lance bottoms or demings.
my 2 satang...
if he wants to completely blow up the base, then demings is the perfect choice. progressives and minorities are not looking for a police chief as VP at the moment. no matter what her record was as a cop...she's still a cop.
lance bottoms is an appealing candidate, but it's one thing to run for mayor of atlanta...and something altogether different to be in a cut throat presidential campaign against donald trump. maybe she's ready for all that entails, but it's a risky pick.
i read recently that harris had alleviated some of the concerns black leaders have about her past as a prosecutor.
warren carries baggage, but i think everyone would fall in line...progressives, minorities, women, (most) moderates.....and i think she'd do better in the swing states than harris.
i'd say harris is the front runner, warren is the smart 'analytics' choice, and lance bottoms is the wild card.
in addition to being incredibly smart, she understands how the federal government works better than anyone else in the field.
for example, if dems want to break up the big tech monopolies, she's the one that could actually do it.
want to stop predatory, pay day lending. warren knows how to do it.
want to actually 'drain the swamp'....warren is 100x more likely than any republican to make significant headway in that regard.
... and Wall St is scared to death of her..
How about the novel idea of someone that doesn't fit nicely into the establishment club.
All moot.
Same as it ever was.
Hook.
Line.
Sinker.
For the overwhelming percentage.

to claim that warren is part of the 'establishment club' and is somehow 'same as it ever was' displays an incredible level of ignorance.

Any black celebrity more on hand who can convince the black population that our man will care a lot for Black Lives Matter?
Ray, I like her. She’s intelligent, passionate, articulate, just not commanding.
She’ll also be 71 in a couple of weeks, and I don’t think having an old white couple standing on the stage at the convention is the image they want to project.
Are your posts purposely annoying, or does it just come naturally?Originally Posted by Klondick
