She's done some serious ball busting to get in the final two!

I expect the whips are still sticky from all the persuasion.

Truss will probably win now. The rank and file curmudgeons will never accept a Paki.

There will be heaps of comparisons made with Grabbie Snatcher.

The candidates are all a bit lightweight in terms of political stature.

Nothing has changed, even now they are at the mercy of a flawed membership.

That should auger well for the opposition except they are even less capable, and have much less stature.

Liz Truss promised to 'hit the ground running' as Prime Minister, a message initially tweeted as just 'hit the ground' and then deleted.

    - The Guardian.

    Obviously the 'BoJo continuity candidate'.

Surely Starmer must be praying she wins.

Symp I said nothing of the sort. Its more than a lack of charisma Stammer is suffering from, ideas, a strategy, firm policies - they have been in opposition for 3 years and no one except Diane Abbott knows what Labour stands for, oh and perhaps you

Ms Truss is a political lightweight, just like Starmer. That is probably why he’s praying that she wins.

The same could be said for Sunak. There is presently no one of substance on either side.

According to recent polls, neithe Truss or Sunak can improve the popularity of the Tories. Both stand at around -30%, so still a lot of catchup required.

Truss will be the most amusing when it comes to interviews though. She'll be hitting the ground running on the comedy gold charts.

The prospect of a Truss government is indeed daunting. The woman is a natural born sycophant driven by opportunism and self interest without a semblance of a doctrine that is recognisable as such - she is also self indulgent and addicted to alcohol and casual sex.

But it is her Cabinet that one must fear the most - Cleverly, Coffey, Nadine Dorries, Braverman, just to give an idea of the utter mediocrity on tap - and it is therefore pretty certain that a Tory government under her will simply be BoJo the Clown Redux but without the laughs.

I am still hoping for Sunak if only to bolster the £'s strength.

Still, a Truss government will hasten a Labour government so......

She was a Lib Dem, then a remainer, and now she is a candidate for PM! She appears to be flexible and adaptable in the extreme.
If Morduant was a former magicians assistant, Truss must be the magician?

Labour will never again be connected to the word government. Even the Guardian thinks Starmer a bit rubbish.
