Yes, it would appear some peoples apparent distaste for waterboarding is quite selective.![]()

If you defend those posts, you're no better than them, depraved and ignorant.
Young Harold killed 30 of them ragheads all by hisself!
Bet those thirty wish they had only been waterboarded.
Don't hear any calls for his head.
Wonder why? He's considered to have been honorably serving his country while killing those men. Dubya's never gotten near the bloodshed.
Psst 'scuse me miss, but your slip is showing.
OK. I take the water boarding comment back. GWB should be hung after a fair military tribunal. Perhaps after just a little encouragement to confess to his crimes, such as prolonged stress positions, sleep deprivation, and imprisonment for years without trial. We could throw in some softening up by extraordinary rendition to some Egyptian dungeon as well. Its all perfectly legal you know according to GWB himself, so long as its not done on US soil.![]()
You mean, Texpat, that you don't understand irony and humour? Of course I wouldn't want him waterboarded. Just retired would do.
I couldn't give a rats arse what happens to young Harry. He is just one of those parasitic royals left over from a bygone era.
No, he's a role-model for all British subjects, (includes canada and australia) running amock over thar in the desert killing folks.
But Bush, he's real bad.![]()
Think far better use of a bullet would be on your head.![]()
Sad but true .... it also seems the China model will out compete the corrupt western pocket lining democratic modelsOriginally Posted by thehighlander959
Just for the record, Sir, I have the same contempt for any political leader who interferes in the affairs of other countries and sends people to their deaths for his own personal gain. That includes, therefore, Bush, his friends in government, Blair, Bin Laden and others. In case you aren't clear about what Bin Laden wants, it's personal power in Saudi Arabia - in the name of Allah of course. Bush is about oil, his friends aren't particular how they make their billions and Blair is getting his payoff now with well paid non-jobs - in the name of Christianity, if you remember the speeches.
Harry is a victim of the British Establishment, as is his brother. I had high hopes that he might continue his mother's work in shaking the foundations of the royal family because, as some say, he's not one of them. However, I fear that it's not to be. Don't be fooled, very few Brits see him in uniform as a role model. He's now the typical product of a privileged upbringing and that's not popular these days. Shame, a wasted opportunity. He really could be a good role model for young people if he were his own man.
Lets face it, if only for PR purposes, the universal chorus of approbation and contempt for Bush, Cheney and their ilk would be somewhat tempered if we were to see one single one of their Offspring or close family serving in Iraq, rather than milking the cash cow that their Daddy created whilst other young men are sent off to be part of the statistics.
There is something to be said for 'Leadership by example' you know. Harry, who as far as I'm concerned is just another bloke, but who happened to be born to Privilege (not unlike Dubya), was only pulled out of Iraq because his presence there was outed by the Press.
^ Whoops. I'd better not criticise Amerkins for lack of geographical knowledge anymore.
You failed to mention that Harry killed them with his bare hands.
