Aljazeera is now reporting that 100 thousand people or more are now on the march toward Rangoon, desperate for help. The number could be higher.

One only hopes that the military doesn't slaughter them in their flip flops.

U.S. sees risk of another cyclone hitting Yangon

BANGKOK (Reuters) - A tropical depression swirling southwest of Myanmar's main city of Yangon could develop into a cyclone within the next 24 hours, a U.S. advisory said on Wednesday.

"The potential for the development of a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours is upgraded to good with the only limitation being temporary land interaction," said a report by the Joint Typhoon Warning Centre (JTWC) (Joint Typhoon Warning Center), a website used by U.S. government agencies.

The country formerly known as Burma is still struggling to recover from Cyclone Nargis, which roared through its rice bowl on May 3, killing up to 100,000 people and leaving 1.5 million people destitute.
The JTWC website said the depression was currently 30 nautical miles west-southwest of Yangon.

The military dictators will probably just shoot them if they don't turn back.
Peasants are disposable items in the minds of these bastards!
