    The nasty ragheads?

AL KHOBAR, April 27: Bahrain is nominating a Jewish woman as its ambassador to the United States, press reports said.

Huda Ezra Ebrahim Nonoo is Bahrain’s nominee for the post and this is of course very good news for Bahrain’s deep-rooted values of tolerance and openness,” Faisal Fouladh, a Shura Council representative, and some western diplomats were quoted in the reports as saying.

Bahrain set to name Jewish woman envoy

Huda Nonoo is also the first Jewish woman to head a rights organisation, the Bahrain Human Rights Watch.

Bahrain is the only country in that whole part of the world that is worth a fuck.
I was there for quite some time working and have been thru there on other occasions and do like the people as well as any I have ever seen anywhere.

Really surprising to come in there from some other country and see a woman driving around in a automobile with her face uncovered or see white women walking down the street unescorted and unmolested.

Always the preferred RON location for aircrews shuttling around the region. Progressive, contemporary, accommodating folks with the right attitude. Good OP machangezi, by contrast, highlights the worst traits of the region.

It sure does, Texpat. The bunch of fuckers - Christians, Jews and Muslims, need to put their past behind and carry on with the pace of this century. Their fuck ups are taking us all down. Look around and see the price of crude's sky rocketing. A 5kg bag of rice cost me 110 baht. Now it's costing me 185 baht. Just a simple example.

Religion is for the weak and superstitious. Xtian, Jews, and Muslims needs to abandon their foolish beliefs and practicies. Yes, the F-ups are bringing us down. Anyone who follows these religions is an F-UP.

    It's just what I believe.

    It's faith.

Religions go back to Ra and Isis, Greek, Roman, animistic. The Aztecs sacrificed people to their gods.

    A human archetype.

Its an inherent trait of human nature to want to believe in everlasting life and thus, some form of religion. Every culture from the stone age on has had some type of religion. They build a belief system with rituals and traditions ruled over by mortal leaders of high status.

Personally I think its all a bit silly and superstitious, but I guess if you are brought up brainwashed into a particular belief system, -- it HAS to be true!

BTW, I am not going to heaven.

So there's one predominantly Muslim country that's made it to the 20th century. Well done!

Well it is only 1429 in that part of the world, so by their own admission, they aren't part of the 21st century yet.
