It would look very bad indeed. There is already an imbalance in many prisons. More whites (and many fewer non-whites) have to be jailed in order to maintain proper and acceptable ratios. We must always strive for a more just society.. Gays are more difficult because some don't admit openly to their condition.

AN RAF veteran told yesterday how he was battered in the street by two thugs who shouted: “Death to soldiers”.Anthony O’Brien, 69, was head-butted and punched to the ground by the men.
The pair then fled. Grandad Mr O’Brien – who had been wearing his RAF blazer and a Remembrance poppy – was treated in hospital for bruising to his face and an injured nose. He said: “The yobs who did this to me are nothing but cowardly scum.”


Father-of-two Mr O’Brien, who served in the Sixties, was attacked walking home from the pub in Fallowfield, Manchester, where he and pals had discussed arrangements for an old colleague’s funeral. He said: “I saw these two lads and, as I got near, they started shouting and swearing.


“They were shouting, ‘F****** shoot all you bastards and blow your soldiers up. Death to all soldiers.’ I was scared.

“I was wearing my RAF blazer and poppy – I wear it regularly because it’s smart and I’m proud of it. I thought they were drunk or something. I told them to leave me alone but the little fella hit me on the side of my head.


“Then the other fella head-butted me. Then they ran away.”


The attack has left him in a wheelchair with heart trouble and breathing problems.
PC Michael Seddon, of Greater Manchester Police, described the attack as “brutal” and appealed for information.


The suspects were described as Asian or mixed race.

But elsewhere, four forces flew the gay rights flag at the weekend to mark International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia — the prejudice against transsexuals.

Merseyside chief constable, Bernard Hogan-Howe, helped raise one above his force's Liverpool headquarters, which was lit up with multi-coloured lights.

And all the force's 41 police stations flew the rainbow flag for the day, marking the anniversary of the day that the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from its list of mental disorders in 1990.

That is actually appalling... forget the issue, it's the blatant politicisation of the police.

Their job is to enforce the law (no matter how stupid and wrong), not to engage in social engineering or political propaganda, the obvious point being that in a democracy people can vote for a party that can change a law, and if the police associate themselves as being political activists for a particular law, they have contaminated the democratic process, and lost legitimacy as neutral enforcers of the law.

POLICE and social workers are failing to tackle Asian gangs who are grooming white girls for sex – some as young as 11 – for fear of being branded racist, it emerged yesterday.


Figures reveal an alarming number of prosecutions for on-street grooming of girls aged between 11 and 16 have involved men of Pakistani heritage.
Experts fear the statistics are a [at]fraction of the “tidal wave” of offending in the Midlands and northern England, which has been rife for more than a decade.
A senior officer at West Mercia police called for an end to the culture of silence surrounding the issue, highlighting the prevalent “damaging taboo” to ignore the connection between on-street grooming and race.
Chief Inspector Alan Edwards said: “These girls are being passed around and used as meat.
“To stop this type of crime you need to start everyone talking about it – but everyone has been too scared to address the ethnicity factor.
“No one wants to stand up and say Pakistani guys in parts of the country are recruiting young white girls and passing them around relatives for sex – but we need to stop being worried about the racial complication.”
In a briefing paper, researchers at University College London’s Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science reported that victims were typically white girls while “most central offenders are Pakistani”.
The offenders were not viewed as paedophiles but picked vulnerable young girls “because of their malleability”. The report concluded that “race is a delicate issue” that should be “handled sensitively but not brushed under the carpet”.
Grooming begins with groups of older men befriending under-age girls they meet in town centres, shopping malls or outside schools, treating them initially as girlfriends and showering them with presents and attention.






But the relationship quickly becomes exploitative as the abuser plies the child with drink and drugs before pimping her out to friends and paying customers. In the worst cases, girls were moved around the country to be repeatedly abused. Most police forces and charities working to help victims, who in some cases have endured years of abuse, have publicly denied ethnicity has any link to on-street grooming.
But in 17 court cases since 1997 where groups of men were prosecuted, 53 of the 56 people found guilty were Asian, 50 of them Muslim, while just three were white.
The claims come after five Asian men were jailed in November for a total of 32 years for a string of sexual offences against girls aged between 12 and 16 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The presiding judge Peter Kelson QC, told the men they were “sexual predators”, adding: “You had what you regarded as your fun. Now you will take your punishment.”
Weeks earlier, nine Asian men were jailed for the “sustained sexual abuse” of a privately-educated schoolgirl who was forced into sex slavery aged 14 in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of the Lancashire-based Ramadhan Foundation, a Muslim youth organis[at]ation, said: “These people think that white girls have fewer morals and are less valuable than our girls. This is a form of racism that is abhorrent and totally unacceptable in a society that prides itself on equality and justice.
“It’s a crime against humanity, a crime that Islam totally forbids.”
Ex-Labour MP Ann Cryer provoked a row in 2003 by saying the culture of arranged marriages could have caused a criminal minority of Asians to target vulnerable young white girls for sex.
The Home Office said: “Child protection is an absolute priority for Government and we expect all local agencies to treat these crimes extremely seriously and to work together to address these problems.”

If the owner had gone to court and it would have cost upward of £25,000.
Who was covering the thief's court costs ? the government and lagal aid, no loose situation for the thief, but a big loss for the owner, joke indeed me thinks.

A father was arrested for clipping his 13-year-old son round the ear as the boy was questioned by police about a break-in at a garden shed.
The unnamed 46-year-old had accompanied his son to Bromley police station, South London, after the boy was arrested for a break-in.
But when officers started to detail what the boy is said to have done - the man lost his temper and cuffed his son's face.
Officers then stopped the interview and arrested the father for assault.
The Metropolitan police today confirmed that the father had been given a caution, a condition of which is that the offender admits the crime.
Parents are allowed to lightly smack their children as long as it qualifies as 'moderate and reasonable' chastisement.
The father is said to have grown increasingly irate as the details of his son's offence were outlined - neither of them had been in trouble with police before.
Officers warned him to calm down, but he later 'snapped' and struck the boy round the side of the face.


'It was not a vicious blow but it did amount to assault,' a source told the Sun.

'The 46-year-old man was acting as an appropriate adult for the 13-year-old who was being interviewed over a burglary when the incident took place.
'The man was given a caution and the boy has been bailed to return on 17 March.

U-turn over LGBTQ badges
The National Trust has reversed a decision to make some volunteers work away from the public after they refused to wear sexual equality symbols.
Staff and volunteers at Felbrigg Hall, a stately home in Norfolk, were asked to wear badges and lanyards in support of an LGBTQ campaign.

But 30 of the 350 volunteers were offered duties away from the public after choosing not to wear them.

In a statement, the trust said it would now be an "optional" decision.
A spokesman also confirmed all volunteers could resume their public-facing roles and it was "business as usual".

The row was sparked following the National Trust's Prejudice and Pride campaign to mark the 50th anniversary of homosexuality being decriminalised.

The National Trust had initially said it was committed to promoting equality and inclusion and in a letter to Saturday's Telegraph its director general Dame Helen Ghosh said anyone who did not agree with the campaign was "free to step back from the volunteer role or take a different role for the duration".

However, the organisation later released a statement saying it was now "making it clear to volunteers that the wearing of the badge is optional and a personal decision".
The statement added: "We are aware some volunteers had conflicting, personal opinions about wearing the rainbow lanyards and badges.
"That was never our intention."

Dame Helen said the National Trust was marking the anniversary of the law change at "a dozen or so of our properties of the people who lived there and whose personal lives were outside the social norms of their time".

She said the film and exhibition about Lord Ketton-Cremer were "sensitive, respectful and celebratory".

A new film made by the National Trust revealed that Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer, the last owner of Felbrigg Hall, was bent.
