Whichever way the election goes, this is the first time an Afro American has stood up and run for President of the USA- and he is a serious contender. Due credit to the American political process for this fact, indeed Hillary is also the first serious female Presidential contender. So whatever the result, this years elections are historical.

The objective of this thread is political humour- basically poking fun at the racists. Most anti Obama rhetoric skirts arounde the overtly racist 'black man' issue. It focuses instead on his 'racist black preacher', or his 'moslem influence'. Or that 'he's a commie'. But sometimes they let their guard down, other times bloggers don't even bother to conceal their racism- and America is a land of free speech. The serious issues can be debated elsewhere, but anytime you come across an overtly racist Obama quote or cartoon, do please put it here- should be good for a giggle.

Aww jeez Tex, lighten up. As it said in the OP, this is a bit of fun, political satire. Given that the current political process involves, to a large degree, attacking your opponents credibility on whatever grounds you can find, Obama running as an Afro-American, and with the middle name Hussein (or something like that) presents a myriad of opportunities to that minority so inclined.

The pisstake is on the underlying element of racism, not Obama or for that matter America. Incidentally, I can find relatively few 'Black man' racial stereotypes- quite a few "moslem' racial stereotypes. So far at least.
