    Spitzer call girl reportedly identified

NEW YORK - The call girl at the center of the prostitution scandal that prompted Gov. Eliot Spitzer to resign in disgrace has been identified as a 22-year-old aspiring musician who struggled in a broken home as a child.
Dupre's MySpace page provides a window into her life as she went from a broken home in New Jersey to a music career in the city.
"I have been alone," she wrote. "I have abused drugs. I have been broke and homeless. But, I survived, on my own. I am here, in NY because of my music."
Records show she lives in Manhattan a luxury rental skyscraper called The Chelsea Landmark, where a gaggle of reporters and TV trucks quickly gathered Wednesday night. Rents there start at $3500 a month for a small studio, neighbors said. The 35-story building opened less than a year ago.
The apartments feature imported Italian tiles, 9-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling corner windows. The building has a gym with a whirlpool and yoga and Pilates studios.

She'll be making millions in Hollywood soon for this.

Remains to be seen. His lawyers are trying to negotiate a plea bargain to avoid prosecution for money laundering and/or misuse of funds. So far prosecutors are saying "no deals" I say hang the hypocrite.

I don't mind him shagging ladies of negotiable affection. I do mind him having prosecuted others for doing the same thing.

He wasnt very popular on Wall St. On the trading floor IN NYSE when the news of ther scandal broke there were cheers and applause. Yesterday when he made his resignation speech there were more jeers and applause. Bloomberg TV made a real dogs dinner of the story even though it is unrelated to the economy.

He was trying to clean-up WallStreet, and those floor traders are as thick as they come, so they couldn't really see what he was trying to accomplish

I noticed that they have the same hardon for the new Fed chairman, fucking idiots

    2. Why do you continue to post on topics you really know nothing about? Spitzer comes from money. What he spent on prostitutes would never be noticed by his wife on credit card bills.

    Nasty Ray is back. Goodie.

Yes, turns out you're right Ray. It was reported today that his father is worth $500 million, and that he is a millionaire baby who must have stashes of mad money. So, 100 grand on whores would not even be a blip for him.

I'm sorry if my ignorance of his wealth offended your fellow democrat. Please accept my apologies.

reported today? he's been in politics for years.

anyway, no need to apologize....i've come to accept your ignorance on political issues.

so i guess you don't have any evidence that spitzer was embezzling funds from the state of new york? despite what you indicated we were "likely to find" if we were to "dig deeper".

^Ray, some of us live abroad for many years and though have an interest in US affairs, it doesn't occupy our every waking thought. So, if you consider it "ignorance on political issues "that I didn't know the New York Governor came from money that is your prerogative.

Hey, what are you doing sticking up for a guy worth $500 million anyway? Oh, yeah, he's one of those "I inherited it all so, I can be all moralistic, idealistic, chase Wall Street Robber Barons" types, because I don't have to struggle to make something of myself.

since completing my undergraduate degree i've spent approx 3 years of my adult life in the US. what's your point? that you're older than me? congratulations.

also, this is a political issues forum where politics is discussed....if you find the water's too deep, head for the kiddie pool....aka the 'funny pics' thread.

first of all i'm not sticking up for him. what makes you think that? did i post that somewhere? please provide a link. thanks.

secondly, are you now against the inheritance tax? you're probably more familiar to it as (cue foreboding music) the death tax.

and finally, in the future you should consider doing some research before implying (read "making up") that someone is an embezzler.

Hard to feel much sympathy for the guy, seeing as he prosecuted people for the same thing.

But I think it is just ridiculous that paying for the services of a prostitute should be a chargable offence in the first place. If I had it my way, it would be the Feds that would be in trouble for invasion of privacy.

I wonder if there is any controversy in the US over the fact that Federal agents expensive, and intrusive, wiretapping activities are being used to sting a guy for hiring a call girl?

Guess you're a big swinging d*ck in the global trading industry to make such a sweeping statement there, Bfly. Lemmeesee, I guess you think Nick Leeson and Jerome Kerviel are the epitome of unthick traders then? And where are they and their Euro firms now?
New Fedhead Binky IS a dunderhead. He should have seen this credit fiasco coming when the subprime crap all started. He's more focused on Fed transparency and early reporting. FO. Start doing your job. That's why Greenspan is still throwing fits.

Actually I am, and know quite a few to speak from experience, also worked on the floor so again speaking from experience. They are thick as they come, brainwashed idiots. That doesn't stop them from making money though, so that's why they are on the payroll. The whole industry is littered with fakes, flashing money idiots etc...

Where did you get that from ? they are criminals, not financial gurus, not sure I am following your "snakehead" logic here, please enlighten us, should be highly amusing.

Actually wrong again (won't be the first time), he is hated on wallst for his lack of transparency and and early reporting. That was Greenspan. Should I pull out the WallStreet Journal article where he is portrayed for his lack of transparency and "obscure" reporting ? he has been trying to make an effort recently with early warning, but only because he has been under pressure, otherwise he would tell WallSt to fuck off, and rightly so.

Btw, Bernake is a Bush team, former economic adviser before taking the Fed job, so I am surprised about you not sucking up to him,

as usual Jet, speaking out of your ass, love your style
