Any people who are led by any kind of 'God' are on the road to ruin.

We'll send them back, in the end.
And you will probably will see scores more, though sadly fewer than the civilised world being fed examples of Islamic justice in the name of what surely must be the most primitive and repulsive god in the history of that industry.
No human enjoying freedom of thought should for a moment overlook that these barbarians actually believe what they are doing is the Will of a merciful and compassionate being. Not even you.
Just to remind you, the Shia have been put in power, and the Islamic loonie element armed and empowered, as a direct result of the Iraqi invasion and occupation.
Under Saddam, arsehole though he was, women attended uni in western dress. 47% of the Doctors were women, and the ex Iraqi PM, Tariq Aziz, was a Christian. Iraq was secular, like Turkey. It also enjoyed the highest standard of living and education in the Arab world, pre- sanctions.
Yes they are and this is exactly why we should leave them alone in the first place. How would we feel if they started to mingle into our western politics and our lifestyle on our homeland ? we wouldn't be happy for sure.Originally Posted by Milkman
I don't think it would be an option for the US army to leave or to stay, eventually they will have no choice but to flee on that roof of the shinny new US embassy. At least the new embassy roof is massive enough to accomodate large helicopters for a mass evactuation.Originally Posted by chinthee

We, or rather the fascist PC brigade of leftist do-gooders, are allowing suicide bombers to multiply at tax-payers' expense!
It is our god-given duty to invade their countries, but god forbid they raise their voice in Western countries they live in - the barbaric scum they are, 'peacelovers' mutilating their daughters, stoning their wives to death, hanging gays from bridges and any other perversity you can think of. (they do get them pooves sorted, though, you got to admit)
We have to eradicate the threat of Islam to civilisation, before it's too late!
Report the Islamist moles in your neighbourhood now!

Wow, I've really missed you Stroller. You add that subjective Muslim-centric, and totally insane aspect to things. Welcome back.

It's less about religion than economics.
Wretched people living in dirty caves want a BMW and a Britany Spears CD. They lash out because they're getting a raw deal.
Beautiful people in posh LA cul de sacs don't want filthy munters moving in next door. They lash out because their way of life (standard of living) is threatened.
Religion is merely a justification that makes the charade appear noble rather than petty.

illiterate rabble 99% of them. All they understand is who's got the biggest stick/gun. Everything else is meaningless to them.

Right. So it's the Christian and Jewish Algerians burning cars and running through the streets of Paris?
Algerian is a nationality, not a religion, and it has more to do with resentment from a past colonization than anything else, we fucked up badly then and we are still paying the price. We should have banned them 30 years ago, but now it's too late. They were cheap labors to use, but now the new generation want the same as the rest of the other citizens, without the work and the money of course,
So it's not the Christian and Jewish Algerians.
Perhaps it's the Hindu or Buddhist Algerians?
We'll get there eventually.![]()
Seems this rush to bring cheap labor into a country always ends up being very expensive in the long run!Originally Posted by Butterfly

Right, Back to Basra.
The Brits pulled out and the training wheels are off. Can they ride upright or crash headlong into the pavement without western assistance?
I think there will be some growing pains and people trying to take advantage of the fledgling local government but they'll get by. Much of this is new -- having real power to enact laws, to vote for their own leaders, to be accountable and responsible rather than just appease Saddam. Hope coalition forces are taking good notes on Basra for when Bagdhad comes to the plate.
let's just begin with this load of crap. the training wheels are off? you're attempting to make it seem as if when the brits high-tailed it out of there everything was in perfect order.....which is undeniably far from the truth.Originally Posted by Texpat
