Thread: Should Canada become the 51st State?

I have been following the talk since Trump said he would invoke 25% tariffs when he gets into office which would affect, Canada and Mexico.
Trump then stated that Canada should become the 51st state in which Trudeau was put down for not standing up to Trump.

The Ontario premier, Doug Ford said not a chance in hell that would ever happen, and then recently said that we would 'buy Alaska' as a joke in retaliation.

Now today, Trump is saying, that Canada will become the 51st state and it will happen by economic force. In the past, Trump has also mocked Trudeau calling him governor Trudeau. Well today Trudeau finally stood up to Trump and said 'there is not a snowball's chance in hell that Canada will join the USA.'

I find it very funny that Trump is so concerned about Canada, why isn't he concerned about fucking China (not literally).

This back in forth is really something. Trump is on tv today saying he is mulling using economic force to annex Canada as a state. I mean really? We have always been neighbors, and trading partners and very different countries in a lot of respects.

No. Canada should not be the 51st state. Mexico should. Mexico has better weather and great beaches.

No, Canada shouldn't be the 51st state. Neither should Mexico. In fact, the US should return Texas, California & New Mexico to Mexico.

It should also return Hawaii to the native Hawaiians (was just deplorable how they forcefully took Hawaii from the natives).

Is Trump still mentally capable? Or is he just following whatever Musk, Vivek, RFK and others are telling him? He doesn't look great in recent sightings.

He threatened Canada with tariffs at the start of his first term too, and then renegotiated NAFTA and it ended up being better for Canada. It's all bluster for the cameras and his base. And Americans would be paying increased costs due to his tariffs, not Canadians. We would be paying the extra costs on American goods if we choose to put tariffs on them. We also have a bigger surplus in trade with them, so a trade war hurts them more.

Don't forget, Biden doubled the tariffs on Canadian lumber a few months ago.

I have to say i'm enjoying this administration immensely and its not even started yet.

Going to take over Canada and Greenland the fukin idiosy of this moron and a big chuck of uncle sams populous is hilarious. I fear its all going to end badly for all concerned. Hopefully someone with better eyesight will end this before the four years are up.
