Neither. Trump will have a stroke or a heart attack and Harris will be kidnapped and die in a failed rescue attempt.

I think Harris is more likely to win but I concede Trump could still scrape through. Harris should be slaughtering Trump, but she isn't.

I reckon Harris will win the most votes. Whether or not that makes her president remains to be seen. I'll vote for Harris. Not putting any money on it though.

Harris will be the next President. Trump will drop out for an unforeseen reason, could be heart attack, or another severe illness.

Well, I hope Harris. Its going to be close. Its definitely another picking the lesser of 2 evils again to a great degree. I am glad I will be looking and living from the outside in if Trump wins and I have great empathy for the US People

All those low IQ Trump supporters who think this is all cute and funny will regret it after this is all said and done if he wins. Trump cares nothing about any of them, he just likes the power and control and has full plans to be a Putin and Xi Jinping. He doesn't care about democracy. Its his make up as a shady business owner along with his pathetic TV career.

But there has to be something wrong with what was on offer before for a loony tune like Trump to get to a position where he could potentially be elected president twice.

Dismissing all Trump supporters as idiots does not really wash when they are about 50% of the voting population. Many of the people who are voting for him are not idiots (although certainly quite a few are) and we would do well to try and understand what motivates them.

One thing that worries me is that I think people are more likely to lie about intending to vote for Trump than Kamala, since he is a more embarrassing candidate to admit to supporting. Which means the public polls may be skewed towards Harris.

Political anal lisps have observed that the political center has shifted significantly to the left in recent times. As a result, people who were once considered neutral or moderate now find themselves more aligned with the right than they previously were.

To quote lefty comedian Stephen Fry: 'It is not the triumph of the right, it is the catastrophic failure of the left.'
Some people think it don't, but it be.

Yes, you’d be better served to vote for the man who bragged about grabbing women by the pussy, screwed a porn star, while his 3rd wife was pregnant, accused of sexual assault by over a dozen women, found liable of sexual assault, and ordered to pay over $80 million.
Yes, cast your vote for that guy.

They are not the main problem.
Well educated better IQ republicans who will give him their vote, not because they like him but because he represents the republican party are the problem.
It's amazing to see that there is not a red line for them, that they are spineless beings without principles.
I would like to apologize to anyone I have not yet offended. Please be patient, I will get to you shortly.

Question no what happens if Harris appears to win .
In most advanced democracies like Oz and UK the full results are known in days.
The losing party however disappointed gracefully retires and usually graciously congratulates the new leader while wishing the NATIONAL government best wishes while promising to be a constructive opposition and represent the opposition.

Trump is a different animal, we know from last time and the failed coup.
Like his mentor Cohn he'll not admit defeat.

There is of course his special need unlike any other candidate of a slew of court cases where he won't be able to grant himself or cronies who abuse the count.
It is similar to equally awful Netanhayu.

ABC inter alia outlines how he will use courts and possibly extra judicial dmos to block Harris, the tighter the result the more likley this will energize the MAGA maniacs who talk wildly of civil war as he has talked of using teh military and silencing opposition which common here or Russia is not the democratic way.

It's a long but worthwhile read, I fear only his clear victory will prevent conflict , but his incresingly likley return will be a disater for US poor, middle class and a tragdy for the GOP, Ukraine and the Middle East.

While Harris and the democratic platform may not be ideal it is that democratic , I don't imagine Harris-Walz supporters violently trying to prevent a peaceful transfer of power. the very fact serious US analysts and many former republicans are worried is this man has no real policy and is driven by pride emnity hibris and a shameless need for atention at any price. His insult to late great Arnold Palmer a disgrace.

I fear benji will strike Iran, gas hike just enough to tilt Pennsylvania the wrong way. We will all find out soon enough.

Trump files extraordinary complaint claiming election meddling by UK Labour party

Allegation references LinkedIn post saying 100 party staffers were headed to US to campaign for Harris

    David Smith in Washington.

    Wed 23 Oct 2024 01.48 BST

First King George III. Now Sir Keir Starmer.

Citing the American revolution while misspelling “Britian”, Donald Trump’s campaign has filed an extraordinary complaint against the UK’s Labour party for what it claims is “interference” in the US presidential election.

The Trump campaign alleged that in recent weeks, Labour recruited and sent party members to campaign for his opponent, Kamala Harris, in critical battleground states in a bid to influence the 5 November election.

“When representatives of the British government previously sought to go door-to-door in America, it did not end well for them,” says a letter from Trump’s legal team to the Federal Election Commission in Washington.

“This past week marked the 243 anniversary of the surrender of British forces at the Battle of Yorktown, a military victory that ensured that the United States would be politically independent of Great Britian” – an incorrect rendering of “Britain”.

In response, UK prime minister Keir Starmer said that party officials volunteering for Harris ahead of the US presidential election on 5 November were “doing it in their spare time” rather than in their capacity working for Labour. Speaking to reporters travelling with him to the Commonwealth summit in Samoa, Starmer said: “The Labour party … volunteers, have gone over pretty much every election. They’re doing it in their spare time, they’re doing it as volunteers, they’re staying I think with other volunteers over there.

“That’s what they’ve done in previous elections, that’s what they’re doing in this election and that’s really straightforward.”

He insisted he had a “good relationship” with Trump which would not be jeopardised by the complaint.

The letter goes on to request an immediate investigation into “blatant foreign interference” in the election in the form of “apparent illegal foreign national contributions made by the Labour Party of the United Kingdom” and accepted by Harris’s campaign committee.

It also refers to a report in the Washington Post that claims advice has been offered between Labour and the Harris campaign, and other reports regarding meetings between senior Labour staff and the Democratic campaign.

Those referenced in the letter include Matthew Doyle, Downing Street director of communications, and Morgan McSweeney, the prime minister’s chief of staff.

The complaint references a social media post, which appears to have been deleted, in which Sofia Patel, head of operations at Labour, posted on LinkedIn last week that 100 current and former party staffers were headed to the US to campaign for Harris.

The letter refers to a “volunteer exemption” in US elections which means foreign nationals can volunteer, but the letter states “they may not be compensated, foreign nationals may not make expenditures, and they may not direct or control activities of US campaigns”.

Last week’s post received a swift backlash from Republicans, with far-right representative Marjorie Taylor Greene writing on X that “foreign nationals are not allowed to be involved in anyway in US elections”.

And Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur backing Trump, wrote on X, the social media platform he owns: “This is illegal” – only to delete the post after a community note pointed out there is no law preventing foreigners from participating in unpaid door-knocking.

The Trump campaign followed up on Tuesday with its legal complaint. Susie Wiles, co-manager of the campaign, said: “In two weeks, Americans will once again reject the oppression of big government that we rejected in 1776. The flailing Harris-Walz campaign is seeking foreign influence to boost its radical message – because they know they can’t win the American people.

“President Trump will return strength to the White House and put America, and our people, first. The Harris campaign’s acceptance and use of this illegal foreign assistance is just another feeble attempt in a long line of anti-American election interference.”

Starmer, the British prime minister, met Trump, the former US president, during a trip to New York last month. Starmer visited Trump Tower, saying he wanted to meet Trump face to face because “I’m a great believer in personal relationships on the world stage”.

So, what about Nigel Farage openly supporting Trump? Surely there's a bit of dirt there that needs uncovering.

The only ones who consider Farage’s opinion are the Mail and the Sun! That tells you all you need to know. He and his so called Reform party carry no weight, with anyone who has a functioning brain cell.
