Your empathy for other people places you in the 50% of the world who is not suitable to call themselves civilized
Because of your inability to extrapolate you will be against the coming AI revolution which will remove most jobs which involve bureaucracy or minimal manual manipulation. This will create a massive bloc of people who will need a universal basic income to survive. If it is not provided to them then they will decide to revolt. the AI upgrade will advance medicine and move the average life span to at.least 120. The renewable energy world will bring cheap kilojoules to allow food to be produced cheaply .

Harris passes delegate threshold for nomination: AP survey
Vice President Kamala Harris needs 1,976 Democratic delegates to clinch the party's presidential nomination — and she's surpassed this number in delegate endorsements as of Monday night, according to an AP survey.
Why it matters: Although the delegates who have endorsed Harris are not bound to her, it's the latest sign that she is on track to shore up the party's nomination with ease.
- Just over 24 hours after Harris officially launched her presidential campaign, more than 2,200 delegates from over 30 states had endorsed the vice president as the Democratic nominee.
The big picture: President Biden gathered the support of nearly 4,000 delegates in his near-sweep of the primary race — but his Sunday announcement just weeks before the Democratic National Convention has left those delegates untethered to a candidate.
- Biden endorsed Harris just after announcing his departure from the campaign trail, with his second-in-command saying her "intention is to earn and win" the Democratic presidential nomination in response.
Driving the news: Under party rules, Harris is required to win the support from 1,976 delegates on the first ballot of voting to earn the nomination.
- AP emphasized that while its survey could demonstrate the early edge Harris appears to have gathered among convention delegates, it is still an "unofficial tally."
What's next: The party's convention is set to begin Aug. 19 in Chicago, but the DNC confirmed on Monday that it will hold a "virtual roll call" to select its party's presidential nominee before Aug. 7.

Harris converts Biden campaign into her own
Vice President Kamala Harris and her chief aides moved swiftly Monday to convert President Joe Biden’s campaign into her own and run an accelerated running mate selection process.
While Harris has rapidly consolidated support within the party, the president’s sudden exit from the race Sunday leaves less than four months until Election Day and forces Harris to make quick decisions on questions that could decide success or failure this fall. It truncates what is typically a yearslong process into weeks and months.
Harris may have only a few days to make perhaps one of the most important decisions: her vice president. Under a draft plan circulated Monday night by the Democratic National Committee, delegates could begin voting on the presidential and vice presidential nominations as early as next week, shrinking the typically exhaustive vetting process for possible candidates into a matter of days.
At an all-staff meeting at the now-Harris campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, Harris announced that both Julie Chávez RodrÃ[at]guez and Jen O’Malley Dillion will be remaining in their roles leading the team as campaign manager and campaign chair, respectively.

Harris allies trying to recruit Obama hand David Plouffe for top campaign role
David Plouffe, a leading adviser to former President Barack Obama, has been approached by allies of Vice President Kamala Harris to join a hybrid team of consultants at the top of her organizational chart, according to two people familiar with the outreach.

Well not really....
She hasn't even started campaigning yet.By the numbers: Trump leads Harris by 1.5 percentage points in an average of 11 national polls conducted since Biden's debate disaster on June 27, per the Washington Post. The same average showed Biden trailing Trump by 1.9 percentage points.
And.... there's another debate to come, which might be interesting.
If Baldy orange cunto doesn't pull out, that is.
Michael Jackson look alike. wtf...lol
Well hate to break it to you, tax, but she is a woman and a person of color.. so of course she is going to represent herself. She will be relatable to women of all races and color, especially smart enough women to know that she is heads above that criminal, Trump.
She may, she very well may, that is the hope.
Harris heads to Wisconsin for first rally as likely nominee after raising $100M
Vice President Harris will head to Wisconsin on Tuesday for her first rally since securing enough delegates to become the likely Democratic nominee for president, where she will lay out the case against former President Trump and tout a massive fundraising haul.
Harris will hold a rally in Milwaukee, making the site of last weekÂ’s Republican National Convention the first campaign stop of her presidential bid. It will mark her fifth visit this year to Wisconsin, which is expected to be a must-win state if she is to win the White House in November.
The vice president will arrive in the Badger State with momentum on her side. Her campaign raised more than $100 million between Sunday afternoon, when President Biden said he would not seek reelection, and Monday evening. More than 1.1 million individual donors contributed to the campaign.
A host of Wisconsin officials will join Harris for TuesdayÂ’s event, including Gov. Tony Evers (D), Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D), Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez (D), Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson (D) and Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler, among others.
Each of those officials has endorsed Harris, including Baldwin, who is facing a tough reelection fight in November.
The Harris campaign touted it has 48 field offices across the state with roughly 160 full-time staffers on the ground trying to reach voters.
Harris on Monday gave a preview of how she intends to frame the race against Trump during remarks at campaign headquarters in Delaware. She compared her background as a prosecutor with TrumpÂ’s host of legal troubles, and she highlighted her support for abortion access, gun safety laws and voting rights.
“Over the next few months, I will be traveling across the country talking to Americans about everything that is on the line,” Harris said in a statement after clinching the nomination. “I fully intend to unite our party, unite our nation, and defeat Donald Trump in November.”
but she is a woman and a person of color.
so fucking what. does that automatically make her more qualified for the job than a man, or a white person. of course it doesnt. its identity politics, just another example of the idiocy of wokeness. replacing merit by identity.
she may indeed be a very suitable candidate for the job, but it wont be because of her gender or her blackness, which is hardly noticeable, although i suspect she will become blacker and blacker over the next few weeks once the makeup and photoshop gurus get to work. just like that meghan markle, the duchess of netflix bint. used to look like a tanned white surfer chick, then she decided she was black and now looks like a burger flipper from the bronx.

Harris takes marginal lead over Trump in new Reuters/Ipsos poll
Harris led Trump 44% to 42% among registered voters in the national poll, conducted on Monday and Tuesday after President Joe Biden dropped out of the contest on Sunday and endorsed Harris as his successor.
It’s early and this was a national poll (state polls are much more important). Middle of next month the national polls should be closer to Harris leading by 5 points.
