Well these people sound perfect for some practical joking.
Fascinating to observe the broad percentage of the Thai population that attach instincts to other "superstitions". The ideals of lycanthropes, shape-shifters, soul travellers, "other kin", and assorted spiritual entities. UFO,s and ETs are accepted without question {as a rule}. Ever discuss dreams with a close Thai? 'Tis wonder that we have to explore such things about Thais....why shouldn't any of these things suprise anyone? Distant spiritual relationships with reincarnation, etc. The Buddhism practiced here in the LOS associates itself very closely with cultural legends, folklore, and the mythical rhelms.
My Thai business colleague is terrified of ghosts, I told him to be more scared of the living than the dead; which is too true
Have any of you posters actually seen a ghost and if so, what did it look like?
It is impossible to prove a negative. Trying to prove they don't exist is futile. Let believers believe, doubters doubt, and non-believers not believe.
I don't believe in ghosts and some may thing that's a personal problem.
He didnt need to return from the dead - he finished what he had to do.
Jesus was murdered. Or more importantly, his body was clinically dead.
So surely they saw a ghost if a dead body was reanimated.
Besides, did you see Jesus return from the dead?
No Proof.
Unless of course you still believe that santa's gonna leave some pressies for you in the morning.
Everyone is entitled to believe whatever it is they believe.
If you laugh at what they believe in, they will laugh at you for not believing.
At one time it was believed that a race of men exists with their heads beneath their shoulders. Returning travellers from distant lands were asked about these wonderful people, and all replied they had not seen them...It must be, said the people, that the men with heads beneath their shoulders live in a land you did not visit.
