Of course not John Kerry and the VVAW had much more to do with it than Hanoi Jane.

John Kerry was just one of the almost 3 million puppets in Vietnam.

In a country where they didn't know the history, language, or complexity of colonialism in involved.

The Americans were just as ignorant and selfish in Vietnam as they are in Iraq.

    Stupid in; stupid out.

    And oh....remember....GWB dodged the draft.

As well as Cheney, Buchanan, and a host of other folks in prominent positions in the chickenhawk government.

Not "just" one of 3 million I'm afraid.

Late May or early June, 1970 -- John and Julia Kerry travel to Paris on a private trip. Kerry meets with Madam Win Thi Binh, the Foreign Minister of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of Vietnam (PRG) -- the political wing of the Vietcong -- and with representatives of Hanoi who were in Paris for the peace talks.

June, 1970 -- Kerry joins Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

Kerry is later described as a co-founder of the VVAW.

Unauthorized meetings with enemy leaders while still in the Navy have serious implications.
His actions with the VVAW were hardly innocent.

If Jane Fonda should go to jail, then Bush and members of his administration should be hung.

From "Pile of Hassle". A passle is an adjective to describe any tedious or annoying task. For example: "Oh no, I have just deleted all my changes because I forgot to save it, what a passle." but probably being used as a collective.

Well, if you had the privilege to work with some of them 'good 'ol boys', in their lexicon for 'a lot' of something is 'passle'...

"You're in a passle of trouble now" was said many years ago down south and I think SB is pretty close if not spot on about the old westerns

A link between Obama and Jane Fonda.

    Going back how many years?

    A bit odd.

It seems Americans have an obsession with their experience, humiliation, and defeat in Vietnam.

It's time to get over it.

How old was Obama back when Jane Fonda went to Hanoi?

    Nice try......

Well Jane Fonda may not be liked but she was part of the noise against the war to get the US out of Vietnam. Lots of Vietnamese and American lives were saved with the end of the war. I git the original anti-Fonda email from my rightwing aunt who has sent me anti-moslem emails as well. I trashed it immediately. The rightwingers in America are nuts, really sick sick fckers.
