It does look like the 15 minutes of fame stuff, unfortunately. Proof needed.

Amazing that with all the places in the world, they always end up flying around and crashing in unpopulated areas of the United States of America.

^ Not quite true. I have read where some of this supposed material came from Brazil.

I noticed the story did not make the network nightly news in the USA.

I believe there is other earth like planets out there. But we are too far away from each other to ever make contact.

Actually, the issues are.... time and space.

There's likely life spread throughout every galaxy. That has evolved into intelligent life, less so. That has done so at the same time-range (a few thousand years) as a not-too-distant neighbour, and not a few thousand, million, billion years before or after. Nope. And evolved to a stage where they can travel between solar systems, while also existing at the same time-range. Forget it.

The OP story is quite funny.

Just how did their ships travel here, by wormhole?

Ya, like the old Soviet Union or China would announce something like this if it happened in those places.

If you were going to keep tabs on someone it does make more sense to be looking at the dominant world power for the last 80 years. As if if you would get any news from china or russia on ufos whether they had or not.

Reading the comments on that YouTube news story is sobering when you see how willing the majority of humans are to believe this stuff at first glance. Shows why people take on religion so completely. Show me evidence and I might change my mind, but for now, it's a feeble fabrication.
