    Our little community in Eastern Washington State was having a property crime issue so they installed a Flock camera system with about 25 solar powered cameras. The Flock system reads license plates and as soon as the system was installed, it was notifying law enforcement about stolen vehicles. The property crimes have dropped to about zero as when crime happens, it is easy to check a camera to see what vehicles were around. Security cameras seem to work, at least in smaller communities.
