Intelligent people are quite capable of reading the article, digesting it and deciding for themselves swish. The central thesis- that US unipolar hegemony over the World is weakening- appears quite obvious to me frankly, and has certainly been cast into the spotlight by the Ukrainian conflict.

And yet you can still ignore the obvious reality? What is your secret?

How's that any different than all the scores of empires that came and went over the time frame of recorded history?

^^ If you read the OP in its entirety, I think that is the theme. Or how to respond to these changes, anyway. Don't reckon the Neocons are getting it right, at all.

    Bullshit.

Russia, the Donbas Republics, and now, the two additional regions of Ukraine, strictly follow an international court declaration and a UNGA resolution.

    Rather than a 16%, "trumped-up rule".

I refer you to the International Court of Justice 2008 ruling - Kosovo.

"On 8 October 2008 (resolution 63/3), the United Nation General Assembly decided to ask the Court to render an advisory opinion on the following question : “Is the unilateral declaration of independence by the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government of Kosovo in accordance with international law ?”"

"In its Advisory Opinion delivered on 22 July 2010, the Court concluded that “the declaration of independence of Kosovo adopted on 17 February 2008 did not violate international law”"

"Consequently, the Court concluded that the adoption of the declaration of independence had not violated any applicable rule of international law. On 9 September 2010, the General Assembly adopted a resolution in which it acknowledged the content of the advisory opinion of the Court rendered in response to its request (resolution 64/298)."

Latest developments | Accordance with international law of the unilateral declaration of independence in respect of Kosovo | International Court of Justice

In closing, at the time Russia and others were against the ruling.

China in regard to its Taiwan island still is.

Well it's very simple isn't it? Let's see the UNGA ask the ICJ if Putin's invasion of a sovereign nation was legal.

Of course it isn't, you witless simian.
