well i love upsetting the fragiles on here, the Chermans and Pikeys seem particularly excited but then one lots last royalty was Austrian and decided advancing science through experimentation was a laugh whilst the natives cheered on and the latter can only really be relied upon to work when they are dropping their troos in front of children or blowing people up.

How does that work then? The royals are a package deal. Either you believe in God and magic anointing oil and their God given right to rule you as their subjects because King Charles is your better or you don’t. If they are some quaint tourist leftover, then acknowledge that, stuck them in a palace, charge tickets and leave them out of public/political life.

@landreth - thanks for that short clip. As someone else said, it's good telly. Jolly good show. I liked the flyby of the aircraft.

If Charles lives for ~20 more years like his mum did, by then William will be 60+. Not too young anymore. As I've said before, I think William will still be crowned king, but not so sure re: George.

Lots of ppl came out for the celebration. Long live the King!

I enjoyed the coronation. It was worth watching.
